Well all good things must end, I got back home yesterday after 15 days of great riding.  When they say Montana is big sky  country  it's true! Road 15 days and was able to avoid all rain, checked into motels afew days early to avoid afternoon showers, then the next day the sun was out again for another gorgeous day. Added  3 additional states to my "RIDDEN IN" map North Dakota,  Montana,  Washington!  4179 total miles, had a great time.  Glacier National Park was awesome!  Got to see my Daughter and grandson in Denver.  The bike was fabulous, no problems, and the sound it hums crusing at 80 MPH is amazing.  Most of the time 65 to 70 was the most comfortable crusing speed. Average 43 mpg but did hit 51 coasting down out of the mountains. Met a couple she road a GL trike, he was on a GL also, they were from Florida.  He had a crest on his trunk, Member of the iron butt club. I took it easy, averaged 300 miles per day, took my time to enjoy the sites. It was a fantastic trip, glad I took the time. Meeting the riding group out for dollar burgers for lunch today. It's back to normal now just usual weekend rides till I can save up for another trip.

Enjoyed my ride in that part of the country, headed back up north in a week, this time in the truck with the wife and our dog. I’m thinking about trailering a bike, but still undecided, glad you had a good and enjoyable ride.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.
