I have a problem, 99 I/S was riding for 10 min then all hell broke loose. Idle went to 3000RPm and miss fire on right bank, almost like choke is on but it is not. I have looked at all cables / air box for leak/ all hoses for vac leak/ shot cleaner down carbs but it still idles at 3000rpm and miss fire on right bank. I turned idle screw all the way down, same 3000rpm , bike starts up like choke is on with no choke on , I have owned 4 valks never this problem, any body out there had same problem? pulling my hair out have look at everything I can think of . If  you want to call me 4842566157 Thanks

Check that the enrichment valves (AKA Starter Valve Set #10) on all 6 carbs are moving correctly.

Both throttle cables are free and not binding ?

                   Is it desmogged or not? If Not and you are running original vac hoses have a good look there. No extra holes in the airbox? Double check the throttle cables and the enrichener acyuators and the position of the enrichener butter flys. My gut feeling is something in all the linkage either on the carb side or the enrichener side or both ain't quite copastetic. I know this is OUT there but you don't have a nitrous bottle in there you ain't aware of? Like i said-OUT there!  2funny RIDE SAFE.
