I have a 69 Bultaco El Montedero 360, that I bought in 74. Been in the barn since 1979. I have saved it for my retirement project, with the idea of returning it to pure stock form. Mostly paint and finish, so not a hard project. Been retired for 7 years, and just thinking about digging it out to see what's what. cooldude Not my first bike, but, the second. The first road bike was a 47 Harley I wish I'd kept

I got several parts in this week from China ebay purchases.

New bearing for front, rear, and steering shaft. Along with new sprockets and chain. Finally got enough parts in to start assembly of the rear axle.

Amazing what some 1000 grit sandpaper and a dremmel with a polishing pad can do to old aluminum

New brake shoes in the front, still cussing and throwing wrenches trying to get the retaining spring into position.

New rear sprocket

Some teeth are pretty ate up

Had a hell of a time getting the new rear bearings beat back in. A few hours in the freezer helped ease the process

A little cool down on the rear axle as well to get it through the bearings easier.

My helper today has been 100% useless.
