Further investigation into social media accounts, news reports, and legal documents support the allegation MN State House of Representatives Candidate Ilhan Omar married her brother, who is not a US citizen, in 2009.
As Alpha News reported last week, Powerline Blog raised some interesting questions about the current state of the DFL candidate’s marriages and the possibility of her committing immigration fraud.
Research by Alpha News suggests that Omar was involved with Ahmed Nur Said Elmi (her legal husband) and Ahmed Hirsi (her cultural husband and father of her children) at the same time.
Now Alpha News has confirmed that the legal name for Omar’s father is Nur Said Elmi Mohamed. In 2013, Ilhan Omar wrote an op-ed for the Twin Cities Daily Planet. In the op-ed, she celebrated the creation of a new state within Somalia called Jubaland and spoke of the excitement of the Somali community in the Twin Cities.

Keith Ellison's current accuser came forward, another woman, Amy Alexander had accused the first Muslim congressman of physical assault and emotional abuse. The media quickly took Ellison's side, Ellison denied the affair and a judge ordered her not to discuss the relationship.
As I wrote in today's article, there are some interesting similarities between the two cases. The media played a role in suppressing both stories. But now a record of Alexander's 911 phone call has emerged. Jeff Kolb posted the call record which took place on May 16, 2005.
If the record is legitimate, it says that someone (name redacted) reported that she was “ASLT’D BY ELLISON/KEITH/BM/41/LS LEAVING APT.
Keith Ellison was born in August 1963 and therefore would have been 41 in May 2005 he is a proponent of Sharia Law and by those standards his actions would not be a big deal and would be totally acceptable.
This is significant because it backs up Alexander's claim and shows that there was a record, and that seemingly no action was taken.
