I would respect the man a lot more if he had done the decent thing and resigned his position when it became evident he would no longer be able to fulfill his duties.

...and that's all I've got to say about that.

Even if he was holding out hope that he would survive, he knew he wasn't fulfilling his duties and should have resigned.

Why would he ever resign his position to him he is fulfilling his obligation by sinking the US, also making sure that his family is taken care of.

“He and wife Cindy McCain quietly sit on a fortune of more than $200 million, largely due to Cindy's stake in one of the largest Anheuser-Busch distributors.”

I think his family will not be wanting. I think his sticking around has more to do with ego than amassing money.

I was talking today with a Marine aircraft carrier pilot who flew with him in the war.
Apparently he was cocky then.

Being on a LPH I was only around helicopter pilots. Some were the fighter pilots, most were the transport pilots. ALL OF THEM WERE COCKY.  ( and the considered them as red headed stepchildren to jet pilots)

I don't believe anyone has ever questioned Senator McCain's love of country, what is questioned is the kind of country he wants this country to be.    It is long past the time he should have gone.

Tell me I'm wrong?  Dems like Warren,Pelosi,Shummer,,Emanuel,Coumo, ect would rather put illegals ahead of American citizen. Open boarders, ect, all the while people like Molly Tibits,Kate Stienly and countless others killed by murder or traffic crashes by people who shouldn't be here in the first place. The Dems don't care how many Americans die at their hands. If that isn't non patriotism I don't know what is...

Do you really think Democrats care more about illegal immigrants than they do about their own constituents ? Even if the were the lowest of scum (which I don't think they are) just their own self interests would dictate that wrong.

On average Pelosi has won her races by a count of 80%  of 200,000 votes. Her district is 15% Hispanic. Even if ALL of them were illegal immigrants, it would not be possible or plausible. Your opinion is seriously flawed.

The 2016 presidential election proved there were at least 4,269,979 votes by illegal aliens in California.

(And more likely at least 8,753,788 illegal aliens voting in California in 2016)

The only problem is, a study in 2014 in the online Electoral Studies Journal made a quite similar claim: In the 2008 and 2010 elections, they said, as many as 2.8 million illegal noncitizen votes were cast, "enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes and congressional elections," said the study, authored by Jesse T. Richman and Gushan A. Chattha, both of Old Dominion University, and David C. Earnest of George Mason University.

The bombshell was this: "Noncitizen votes likely gave Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress."

It got little coverage in the mainstream media, and what coverage it did get was almost entirely dismissive.

Now comes a new study by Just Facts, a libertarian/conservative think tank, that used data from a large Harvard/You.Gov study that every two years samples tens of thousands of voters, including some who admit they are noncitizens and thus can't vote legally.

The findings are eye-opening. In 2008, as many as 5.7 million noncitizens voted in the election. In 2012, as many as 3.6 million voted, the study said.

In 2016, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates that there were 21.0 million adult noncitizens in the U.S., up from 19.4 million in 2008. It is therefore highly likely that millions of noncitizens cast votes in 2016.

And it was no accident. Democrats had extensive get-out-the-vote campaigns in areas heavily populated by illegal aliens. As far back as 2008, Obama made sure that those who wanted to vote knew it was safe, announcing that election records would not be cross-checked with immigration databases.

Study supports Trump: 5.7 million noncitizens may have cast illegal votes

Yes I do, or at least it seams like it to me. Why would they continue to block laws like "Kates law"? Why do some want ICE abolished? They don't want the wall built. Elizabeth Warren says that keeping illegal families together is more important than protecting American citizens. Not all illegals are bad people but many are so we can't take the chance.

The first number was the number of votes Hillary received above Trump in California, the 2nd number was the total number of votes Hillary received.

Going on the assumption that no legal American citizen would have voted for Hillary, thus those must all have been fraudulent votes.

I respect his time in service to the country, but as a politician, he's the Democrat's best friend.  He never shies away from taking on the Republicans.  I just wished he'd been honest about it and changed his party affiliation to match his politics.

Ducey has said nothing on the topic, other than we would not choose himself.  Meanwhile, McCain still hasn't resigned and Arizona is not being represented equally in the senate.  Pretty self-centered of him.

Depending on when McCain finally decides to step down, it may not even be Ducey to decide.  Ducey's opponent in the primary has stated he will not appoint Cindy McCain.  If Ducey makes an appointment before the primary, some pundits think Ducey would get a bump by selecting her.  Personally, I think it would cost him in the primary.  It might give him a bump in the general.

Agreed. It doesn’t look like McCain is going to step down. I think Ducey will be re-elected regardless who he picks.

McCain has more patriotism in his little finger than our POTUS has in his whole body.
John

Jeez give it a freaking rest. We get it. We all know you HATE the president there is no need to tell us damn near every day...

And Trump has more patriotism in his little finger then damn near every Democrat in this country. So there.....

LOLOLOL.....not digging the payback,eh?

Not all illegals are bad people but many are so we can't take the chance.

I would change that to "...SOME  are..."
