One of the 10 best days of the year for anything outside

Took Stan's old bike out for a spin
after I put 37 lbs in that Envigor tire and I think I am getting close to its sweet spot

That tire really soaks up the bumps and only once gave me trouble on a deep pothole in a 10mph turn going downhill and that was my fault for not giving enough gas when I saw it.

Also I took off the Ultimate and put on my spare OEM seat

We went up 9 to the goat trail and I (like last week) sucked pretty bad  so instead of crossing the bridge I continued north on 9D to Garrison Made a u turn and came back down this time crossing at Bear Mtn Bridge and up the nice road to Perkins Drive,

Felt very comfortable to the top and on the way back down

Here is a pic from the top

Going back down toward the lodge there was that big hole in the middle of the roundabout, lesson learned and no biggie so I continued to the bridge crossed and went back to Garrison

Sorry I meant to take a pic of the Benedict Arnold marker but drove right by it

9 south I was now feeling in tune with the bike and the rest of the ride I was very relaxed and except for sneezing 20 times in the full face helmet it was a great 2 hours of being out and about

Gonna sit by the pool, eat some chocolate cream pie for lunch and catch some rays  Its 77 degrees and sunny with light breeze.

Today, at least, its good to be Oss, Hope its good to be you too today

Nice to hear you got a good ride in and are getting use to the car tire. Love mine. Really like the extra rubber on the road. Hoping the Summer rain show is over and turns into a great fall riding season. We are looking forward to your ride in the Eastern NY roads. Still love the paint on that Valkyrie. Very unique.

Nice ride report Oss. Glad to see the old girl out on the road soaking up the sun.
I miss her more than anyone would know.
