The HYPOCRISY overfloweth.

Democrats are actually saying that "gov't should stay out of our lives".   Cheesy

They actually said that exact phrase.  And not just one of them.

Coming from the same people that want to control every aspect of our lives. They are killing their own party piece by piece. Even the Democrats are looking to get away from the Democrats.

Just got back from a 6K mile bike trip and I have to admit I
did not watch a bit of news.
My trip was so much more fun without knowing the stupidity

that was back in Washington screwing with what was meant to
to be a government by and for the people.
Seems all they are concerned about is their power.

Quick bite on the noon "news" from a leading dem or 2-thay seemed to be pissed about 100000 pages of documents they claim to have not received versus the 400000 pages they Did receive. How zackly do anyone "read" 400000 or 500000 pages of in a timely manner? I have problems keeping up with my E-mails.  Roll Eyes Give the dems some more time and-ah hell no-they'll NEVER get their stories straight!  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

Listened to it for a few minutes in the car. Very shameful. A complete showboat extravaganza. One Democratic Senator was trolling on about how the Little Rock 9 was so about upholding a Supreme Court decision, blah blah blah. If I were Brett Kavanaugh I would have waited for my turn to reply, and cursed him right out, DEMANDING an apology for his slimy inference and pathetic attempt to link anything like that with him.  Then I'd have asked him how long he'd been stupid, and was it curable? People on death row should have to watch these hearings, sadly, no decent person would possibly subject themselves to observing them.

Tell them as soon as we get all of Hillary's earlier subpoenaed material, they can get all angry about Kavanaugh's. I'm so sick of the hypocracy, besides, all of Kavanaugh's cases should be easy to research. Let the Russians do it for the Clintons, and then the Clintons can do what they do best-sell it.

Corey Booker was one of the main complainers about the hearings being held now without all the documents being supplied because it would be unfair to the American people to question the nominee without all the info at their disposal. All that bluster and he has already made up his mind to not vote for the appointment as has just about every member of the democratic members except for those who are on the edge in the upcoming election.

All the Dems want is the chance to delay the appointment until after the mid terms on the prayer they will win enough seats to gain the majority.

The freshman senator from Hawaii is a piece of work, and was loaded for bear. Don’t know if she wrote her opening comments or not but she had a hard on for Trump and by association Kavanaugh.

Does that somehow change the facts? One of the main reasons we are where we’re at is all thanks to the wisdom of the Democratic leadership. Harry Reid is the one who changed the rules to just a simple majority vote. Given the current balance of power do you think the republicans could get 60 votes that would have been necessary before the mighty Harry Reid had to have his way? I think at the time he was reminded by McConnell that it works both ways and could bite him in the future.

No need for the eye roll, you and I are both informed enough to know games are played by both sides. My post was to point out that the Democrats are having to play defense and nothing they say means anything other than to try and postpone, delay and distract from the business at hand. I found the Democrats very entertaining today and some of the Republicans quite funny especially John Kennedy from Louisiana. It’s great theater once you realize what’s really going on.

But to your reply, I’m pretty sure if the roles where reversed the story would be the same.

I heard Chucky Shummer called Rev Sharpton the day before so he could get people together to disrupt the hearings. I don't ever remember a sitting GOP senator doing this to disrupt a Democratic nomination hearing. Sounds like pretty dirty games the dems are playing to me. His kids had to be escorted out of the hearing because of Shartons useless idiots heckling them. You and your side should be so proad....

Don't know why Kavanaugh puts up with it, all we have now is political speeches and desperate attempts to get delays, from the side that already said they'd not vote for him. Time to vote on him. After "wise Latina woman" Sotomayor was approved, the left has no standing to EVER complain about a SCOTUS pick.

If I was as qualified as Judge Kavanaugh (and we all know I'm not), I'd have to really think it over if the grilling in the circus of the Senate is really worth a SCOTUS seat.

I remember a time when it was not nearly this atrocious (confirmation hearings , that is).

How in the hell can anyone forget the Obama administration when this administration brings it up just about every day. If POTUS is pissed about anything, it's always Obama's fault, all he does is blame everyone else for everything. You can go just so far. He doesn't take responsibility for anything.

Yeah, that does sound very familiar. It's kinda like when Obama continually blamed President Bush for everything that went wrong even well into his second term.  crazy2

No I didn't forget that. But do you remember back in 07 when ol Chucky Shummer said they would block any supreme court nomination by then pres Bush because it was the end of his term.  Bush didn't nominate anyone then but the dems set the rules. So the Republicans just took a page out of the dems playbook in not letting the nomination go on in Obamas last year. So how does it feel to have the tables turned on you? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.....

While I do not like or respect the republican party leaders and think they do a very poor job at running anything, I must say that the democratic party leaders impress me with there stupidity, total lack of candor, lies, crookedness and all around being an A$$.

In  reality the republican leaders should be in the corner with the dunce cap and the democratic leaders should be expelled from DC.

The SC hearing is the most childish thing seen lately outside of a pre-school.

They should just shut up and call for the vote, anything else is a total waste of time.

What is it going to take to get the clowns in DC back on the job - a $h----- nuke.
