Our Quilt arrived today and it is beautiful.  To me it is an important piece of VRCC history.  We will cherish it for now and hopefully pass it on to the next generation of Valkyrie enthusiasts when the time comes.  Many thanks to those that donated their t-shirts and to the lady that sewed it together.

So glad you like it!  Please post a pic of it, along with the pillows for all to
see!  The lady that put it together is a good friend of mine and I will pass this along to her!  She did not even charge us for making it, but rather donated her time since the proceeds were going to the charity!

I did tell her!  I was so impressed with her work on it and the fact that she donated her time to do it!  I would like to see us be able to do another one for this year, but I am missing a handful of the the shirts!  We will have to see if we can come up with those!

Man that thing is beautiful.  cooldude  (my mom made a bunch of quilts with all kinds of flannel and corduroy patches, not pictures, and I still have one, used all through college and thereafter.  It's seen better days, and frayed, but it's never going to be a furniture pad.)

My sewing work is limited to buttons and sox... with a 50/50 chance of a needle in the finger.  And even with trifocals, threading needles is as hard as Chinese math.   Grin  (they actually make a tool for that)

I'd be hanging it on the wall, not putting it on my bed.
