Well, it looks to me like there is a difference of opinion on this thread.
Here's my two pennies worth.
During the 2008 primary election season, when I first heard Obama speak, I was impressed. In that speech he was eloquent and well-spoken. After about ten minutes it started to sink in WHAT he was saying, underneath the nice language. I thought Uh-Oh! If this guy wins we're in Trouble!
Sure enough, Obama won the election and tried to, as he said, 'Fundamentally Transform' America.
From what? The richest, free-est, most powerful nation on earth, the nation that has wielded the most power and used it for the most good, in recorded history.
Perfect? NO. Great? YES!
What did Obama try to transform America into?
Well, you can see it.
Just look to the south, to Venezuela.
My neighbor worked for many years, installing oil and gas pipeline pumping stations. Years ago he did a lot of work in Venezuela. He said "it was really neat, like the USA in the 1950's."
Unfortunately, Venezuela 'Drank the Kool-Aide' of so-called 'Socialism' (quote: "The objective of Socialism is Communism".... Lenin)
The Venezuelan people have undergone a loss of freedom and an economic collapse that is mind-numbing. From the most prosperous nation in South America, they have descended into dictatorship and rampant poverty. Their elections now follow Stalin's rule: "The people who Vote are irrelevant. It is the people who COUNT the Votes that matter."
My understanding is that the average Venezuelan has lost on the order of 24 lbs, as there is just not enough food.

THAT is what Obama wanted to transform America into!
I could list SOME of Obama's crookedness and scandals, but I would be here until the cows come home. Apology Tour/Fast-and-Furious/Benghazi/Keep Your Doctor/ Weaponizing the IRS/FBI/CIA/EPA will do for a start.
My question to all of you is this: If President Obama had wanted to do everything in his power to weaken and destroy the United States of America, WHAT would he have done differently than what he DID do?
President Trump, on the other hand, is returning the USA to the path of strength, freedom and prosperity.
The main thing I see, other than his encouraging (rather than Obama's DIScouraging) speeches, is that he is having his people cut untold numbers of burdensome 'Red Tape' regulations, so that companies are perking up, the economy is picking up, LOTS more people are back to work, and the Federal Reserve is raising interest rates gradually back to normal levels. Remember that under Obama, the Fed lowered rates to the floor -just like putting the accelerator to the floor in a car- to do their best to keep the economy from stopping completely. Any time they MENTIONED raising rates the least bit- not DOING it, just mentioning it, the stock market would TANK.
Is President Trump perfect? No.
But, just as President Abraham Lincoln said, when people criticized General U.S. Grant (called him 'Useless Grant' among other insults).... Lincoln said "I cannot spare this man.... HE FIGHTS!"
