Hi all,
I know that some of you have Joop's gadgets on your bikes. I made a few videos about his projects over the years, and multiple people have asked me how he's doing.
Someone sent me a message today that he died on January 26th.
He made gadgets mainly for his own bikes, but would hand build for others on order.
What you might not know is that during his life he also posted the full schematics and instructions online for free, for anyone who wanted to build their own.
I didn't know him well, but talked to him several times during his cancer treatment.
He was a good guy, loved to ride motorcycles, and was a clever engineer.
It looks like all of his content has been removed online, so here are a couple of Joop related installs I did over the years:

Sorry to hear about his passing. Have looked at his "creations" in the past and admired his workmanship and know-how.
