Felicia is the name given to people that announce their departure from a forum, whether due to extreme butt hurt or some other reason.

Rob, sorry to read this. We never agreed on everything but nothing wrong with that. I am sad to see you go as I valued your friendship and still hope to meet you someday. You provided me invaluable info on my Alaska trip and I saw things I would not have see without your input. I hope you reconsider!

Rob…
Well, I’m new on this forum, and have not gotten immersed in any of the political ‘discussions’… Usually I’m looking for technical information, or maybe just swapping stories.
Here’s an experience from which I learned something.
Many years ago, I was doing some equipment design work that required actual, genuine stress analysis. And, being rather rusty at it, I contracted that part of the work to a guy that did this every day. Over the course of time our conversations might include a comment on current events, and sometimes wandered into different areas, including politics. He described himself as a liberal. I describe myself as a conservative. But, after a number of discussions, we found that we really were not far apart….. on ANYTHING!
Sorry to see you walk away, I for one will be glad to see your ‘avatar’ back,  anytime.
In any case,
Keep the Rubber Side Down!

Never saw a post from this gentleman that I cared to read but that's just me. He's entitled to post his view just like everyone else. I tend to stay away from the political debate. My main purpose for being a member of this club is to get info on our great bikes and this site has been very beneficial to that purpose. Never understood why anyone would announce their departure? You want to go, just go. I'm guessing the annoucement is done in hopes that someone will beg them to stay. Go. stay, whatever you do I wish you the best!

People write the departure note to let those that do respect what they have to say know they are off, Rob had a lot of good posts and plenty in support of others, he was one of the few members that took the time to reply to pretty much every trip report that without positive replies to those they will disappear as why put the effort in to posting them.
