We took a ride over the weekend and stopped in at The Phillips Motel in Robbinsville, NC . As most are aware Miss Reba is no longer there and her kids sold the motel. New owner is American ( imagine that ) and only bought the motel part the houses and cottage's still belong to Miss Reba's kids however the new owner is managing them so basically nothing has changed. The firepits are still in place however I didn't see a stick of wood . Here's the deal he is going to get us a rick of wood ( not sure what the cost will be I'm guessing around $ 60.00 to $ 75.00 ) . A donation bucket / hat will be placed up at the firepits up top. If we can't throw a few bucks apiece in that then I'm stuck buying the wood. Anyone reading this have a room somewhere other than ground zero ? If you would like to join us don't call the motel they are showing " Sold Out " but I can hook you up. Just post back on this thread.  |

If everyone that stands around the fire threw in a few bucks it would take care of it. No tips no extra all we need is the cost of the rick. Or I can call him and tell him to forget it and we'll stand around and freeze if it's cold at night.

Pizza scam ? Don't get it ??? You know, how when everyone is sitting around drinking and someone orders pizzas, the orderer usually ends up eating for free and even making a few bucks. |

Medium pizza boxes fit nicely on the back seat of my I/S 3-4 of them stacked high and strapped down with a bungee cord or two. Works well! |

Some are "secret" and known only to a few who ride together every year and others will meet at the Shell gas station in Robbinsville. |

Joe, I still have 2 singles in one room, or a queen available if some one needs them as wel.
Looking forward to seeing T-bird again, that'll be worth the trip. Supposed to be 29 degrees here in Motown when I leave. Broke out the heated gear.
