The D C 3/C 47 air planes are STILL Beautiful Birds. Flown in a couple back in the 60s. RIDE SAFE.

Yep, I would sure like either those aircraft. I wouldn't be able to afford to keep either one flying though.
The first large twin I trained in was a DC3 [ actually R4D]. That seemed like a LONG way down to the ground from the drivers seat. But, they are a great sweet flying airplane [ as long as you don't stall it].
