Well that's really sad news, I have a lot of his albums downloaded on my phone.
 He was a great writer and loved his voice, I think he wrote a lot of songs on one of Tina Turners biggest records in the late 80's early 90's.

Rainy night in Georgia one of the best songs ever written. Tony JOe wrote it and I like his version better than brook Benton and that's saying somethin rest in peace
