Bought this baby in August, and Im trying to find who owned this bike before the guy I bought it off of. Just wondering if anyone has seen this or knows who may have been the owner. Have a couple of questions about it. Thanks!

You've changed all the fluids and stripped and serviced the drive shaft and pumpkin?

Well, nice bike.

You could chrome the master cylinders....not much else really needed other than maintenance items.  Timing belts, fork fluid, coolant change, final drive and drive shaft inspection and maintenance, etc.

There’s enough to keep you busy for a while...don’t delay final drive inspection.

Good luck.

Was done right before I bought it, he did all that, and had it inspected. Had all the paperwork. I even went to the dealership hes always taken it to, when I walked in the guy behind the counter said, "so I guess youre the lucky one who bought bobs gurl". Pulled out his file and went down the list of everything theyve done and when. This thing was very well taken care of it seems. Theyve done the rear end and service the splines etc at every tire change. The guy I bought it from couldnt remember who he got it from, but hes the one who did all the mods to it, and he couldnt remember what all he was done, he bought it 8 years ago. The one who did the mods also painted it himself free hand, he signed the rear fender under the seat but its to worn now to make anything out really.

I knew it seemed like something was missing there!!

How many miles on rear tire?

She has 23.5k miles, new back tire, but heard the Metzlers arent that great of a tire on it, havent noticed any issues yet myself, but no real reference point either

Not a super real big fan of flames like this either, but I do like more real looking ghost flames, might do something about that in the future

I think it looks sharp, but paint scheme/color is so subjective.  At least if you decide to paint it, should not cost much since only almost just tank and front/rear fenders left of it to paint.

I saw locally a nice maroon red with dragon scheme built into the various areas to me was awesome, except the 8300 price tag he was asking for the VAlkyrie.  I think it finally sold after being for sale forever,  but someone has to REALLY LOVE the paint scheme to pay that much more just for paint.

I really love the different blacked out paint scheme of the newer goldwing with blacked out rims and exhaust vs. all that chrome galore as most goldwings have.  Maybe one day if I sell some of my more cheaper toyzzzz ?????     Roll Eyes   Hopefully by the time my old 2001 Valk wears out,  the price will be in that 8-10K range on this one below as well?

I have ran Metzlers and have had no issues. Maybe you are thinking about Dunlops, now those are some crappy tires. I run a car tire on the rear and a ME880 on the front right now. My front does need replaced soon though.

To each their own. Been running dunlops for last 10 years and had zero problems and great mileage. Dunlop Elite 3 and 4
