Bruce, good news on the rib situation...  Just do what the doc tells ya, and your stubborn as a mule attitude can take you a long way!

Obviously, you have the combined prayers of your 'Big ol' Goofy family' here, but from what I know, a positive attitude will go a long way in getting better  ;)

You are in my prayers my friend. and I prescribe some 'wind therapy'.

Good news indeed. I meet with my dr. tomorrow at 3:00 about various test results. Didn't know I could hold my breath that long.  ;)

My Father and Grandfather died of Prostate Cancer back before they had the technology they have today.   Therefore me and my brothers all go once a yr for a check up on PSA and do the finger wave.   so far so good.   In having to deal with several family members with Prostate Cancer I have learned that the key to beating Prostate Cancer is EARLY DETECTION.    90% curable in the early stages and 90% fatal in the later stages.   Sounds like you are catching it in the VERY early stages.  Do what the Docs say and you will do just fine.

John,

I hope the news you receive is at least as good as that I had awaiting me! Black Dog 'prescribed' some wind therapy to me, and that sounds like a great idea... I'm figuring to fill that prescription Saturday with a ride down to Jerry & Sherry's thingy in Z-hills... I see you're looking to make that ride, too. Looking forward to seeing you again, and... perhaps swapping a tale or two... no scar comparisons, however!

Everybody,

Thank you all so very much for the positive statements, the sharing of personal information about experiences of your own and/or people close to you, and for all of the out-pouring of good thoughts and wishes! Not hard to conceptually grasp the importance of solid 'support', but it's impossible to know in advance just how powerful and wonderful it actually is! Thanks for everything done by my best friends forever!!!

See ya down the road...
