I'm Appalled and need to VENT (Politics AND Religion enter at own risk)

I just came across a Facebook post that has sent me over the edge.  I'm angrier than I've ever been over all this political crap.  And it's not what the politician did or didn't do.  It's the insane hunger that the left has to create, and believe in, hatred.  They create hatred where there is none, and their supporters are so willing to believe that hatred was created by the President in 2016.  They twist the definition of ordinary words to create hatred.  They purposefully take statements out of context daily to create hatred.

But this latest hit me in the heart, as a Jewish man.  Yes, married out of my race and faith, non-practicing, my son went to a catholic HS and goes to a catholic college, but I identify completely due to entire life's experiences as a Jewish man.  This FB post was a blast at the vice Pres. for meeting with a Rabbi of a congregation of Jews that follow Jesus, following a mass murder of other Jews.  They belittled the VP and his staff over the Jesus thing, but what came next was insane............  Jews made snide and nasty remarks about other Jews.  Can you F ucking imagine?  Over politics, in order to attack the VP, Jews attacked other Jews.

When did it all get so backwards?

It is very sad, down right awful, that anger and hate have been so cultivated and encouraged.  Anger and hate have grown considerably more prominent in the last decade... In my opinion.   ........... I hate that this is happening!  But if I allow myself to be too angry or let myself focus my hate on people rather than on the decline of freedom and civility, then I will be adding to the problem.  It is hard for me to keep my focus off people though.  There are some that are cultivating the hate and I would love to see those people locked away out of sight and mind.

I have talked to many people and find very few that endorse the media narrative of what is happening. I would also not trust ANY social media site for a true pulse of what is happening. Dont forget that with the elections so close Trumps opposition are trying desperately to come up with anything and everything to disparage Trump. Dont be distracted by the side shows that are being brought up by the media. Talk to people and find out the truth.

Division is the name of the game, it serves to distract and separate so people forget we have a common interest in this country succeeding.

Those that believed in a Obama utopia are not happy with the changes of going back to the ideas of Trump and nationalism. It could be a hard pill to swallow to know that the changes that were made for your point of view are being undone. The goals and achieving them to these people justify the means and Unity can be sacrificed on the alter of achieving one world goals.

Trump said something in one of his campaign promises, "You will get tired of winning" Make no mistake we are winning and getting our country back also. But I would not expect that it would not come without a fight.   

While the left has anger just remind them it would be nice to visit the new US Embassy in Jerusalem.

There is another way to look at this whole thing that is happening, as a fulfillment of scripture. There are signs that are happening that were told about in the bible and the Torah. So if you see the events you can look and see that these were foretold, very exciting and yet distressing also. We see preparations being made for the temple to be built and the events told that would happen at that time gives both Jew and Christian alike to marvel at the words spoken in these religious books. It was also told how people would be and so those with faith should have an idea of the mood and disposition of people and the real causes. What a time to be alive.

A long time ago I used to consider myself a Democrat. This was during the Carter and Reagan years.

The media, even at that time, now looking back, was definitely in the Leftist camp. It didn't appear that way to me then but I can see it now. It wasn't as blatant as it is today.

My disenchantment with the Democrat Party began with the nomination of Bill Clinton. I, as a Democrat at the time, believed that we held our officials to a particular standard or standards. We did with Reagan, we did with Bush. I believed the media and supported the consensus of media as to the standards we must hold them too.

This went completely out the door with Clinton.

The sleaze, the corruption, the crime and lack of civility and honor was ignored by the media. Said it was now not a big deal. Particularly with the trail of women which were obviously abused and assaulted.

Things that the media would crucify a Republican for even if it were simply suggested and much more if a hint of evidence would be known was now nothing.

The hypocrisy was stunning. I went conservative and generally considered myself a Republican then.

The media's treatment of GW Bush was disgusting.
The fawning over Obama was over the top. Always.

Trump is a breath of Fresh air.

To see the President hold the feet of the media to the fire is spectacular. I think the Republicans finally realize that it is ok to have a spine. To stand, without apology, for your views and positions.

This is driving the leftist to levels of insanity they are not accustomed to. Nothing they do seems to work. But this is what happens when your political opponent has a spine of steel.

The leftist have invested a tremendous amount into what they thought was their future. The Democrats, Progressives, Media, and the Entertainment industry thought it was in the bag. How could it not be?

I get as upset with the politicians we have sent to Washington as most anyone and sometimes I just have to say my piece or put in my two cents worth. Now I can think for myself and I have a decent bullshit meter and a lot is being shoveled our way by both sides to varying degrees. Money and power have always been the determining factor in shaping our country as it is for just about every country on earth.

I have little of either but I try to keep informed and vote for the best available to me. But in the final analysis, I believe God is in control and I’m good with that. I lived by you in Port Chester from around 1959 to 1966 or '67 from 4 years old on. It truly was a different time. Anything truly important was scheduled for Saturday night so that nobody had to violate their Sabbath. Granted, there was a high number of Jews compared to here in the Midwest, but it wasn't a matter of majority. Folks just plain got along. Our landlady was Mrs. Katz, a neighbor was Mr. Goldman, heck half my classmates' last lames ended in berg, man, son and often included a gold or silver. It was just normal, and some kids got dreidels confiscated in class, and others lost their gen u whine Duncan yo-yos. Hi gang!

Here is an antidote to the liberal media hate machine.
A few months ago I came across the site:

It is run by a guy named Joe Dan Gorman, a good-ol'-boy up in middle Tennessee.
He is a patriot, a conservative and Trump supporter, and has apparently been making videos, one every few weeks, for something like 6 years now.
Several of his videos have been banned from Youtube, and given Youtube's (recent?) leftist slanted censorship, that is a (+) in my book.

Each video is about 30 minutes long, and is a collection of short clips, from a few seconds to maybe one minute long, -and listen to the carefully-selected music that goes with each clip!

Anyway, nothing nasty or terribly offensive, just some good political humor lambasting the leftists.
The first one I watched was 'Red Tsunami'. The first few seconds I thought "What the .....?", then I started to smile, then grin, and I had tears of laughter running down my face by the end of it.
The more recent videos are 'Red November', 'While my Liberal Gently Weeps', 'The Media that Cried Trump', and 'Red Tsunami'.

If I may point out one clip in particular, it is 'Red Tsunami', starting at 1:57 in the video and running for about 1 minute. Watch the clip, and LISTEN to the music! Heartfelt decency and patriotism!
