When mentioned at the breakfast table the silence that followed was deafening.  Roll Eyes At the moment I'm digging around on Ebay for a small(10" or under) wheel to use and possibly a scooter or small motorcycle swingarm with a center mount for a shock. I'd prefer a solid wheel as opposed to spokes. Once I have that stuff in hand I can go about designing a frame. As yet I haven't decided on whether I will build a box with fiberglass or find something that will suffice, is lockable and weather proof, relatively light. I know there's a number of commercial made one wheel trailers out there, but I'm not as proud of their work as they are so don't want to pay their price.

Having said all that, I'm open to suggestions for any of the stuff mentioned. I'm just wanting something about the size of a Uni-Go....without the price tag. I'm sorta looking ahead at the moment.

Diggin thru a LOT of cobwebs here but didn't Grumpy build a one wheel trailer? Ross-da prez-has my 8" take off wheels from my H/F trailer when I went to 12" wheels. Maybe somebody near you has done something similar like I did-8" for 12". I KNOW for a fact the ones I had handled well over 100 M P H.  Roll Eyes Anywho-let us know whatcha come up with!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

One of my riding buddies is putting plans together to make one, has the scooter rim, a plastic box to fit on it, we looked at a bike swing arm but dropped that idea and will build the swing arm to suit the size we want

I will be helping build it...I am going down the 2 wheel trailer build track as I don't want the extra weight on the stand for softer ground (mid winter camping)

this trailer was on one of our evening rides, it seamed to tow well Smiley

Trike take off GL1800 saddle bags can be had fairly cheep. You could also go to a swap meet and pick up HD saddle bags. The down side to the HD bags may be that your tow vehicle my start leaking fluids.

Single sided swing arm has merritt if you need to fix a flat tire... but here is just a couple of pics I have on file for ideas.... I was going to go single sided swing arm but I also like the suspension on the one behind the red scooter....with a few mods
