My wife and I rarely have the same days off. That’s not always a bad thing though.  Smiley Today was a day that we did though. This morning after serving her coffee and breakfast in bed, she surprised me and said she would like to go for a ride today. Great ! She has ridden little since Roanoke. But she said she needed to do something with my granddaughter at school and would be busy till 10:30. I should have been wise. 1:00 she finally gets back. We take off, and I’ve got about a 200 mile loop planned. The weather was great, maybe 80*. After about 20 miles she tells me over the intercom that she has to run our granddaughter to gymnastics at 4.  Shocked So, it was a pretty short ride. We just went up the road, had lunch and turned around. Gave me a chance to try out this new relive app though.

Good you got out with Brenda today. Even if it was a short ride.

Since it was “warm” today, I took the day off & went for a ride. It was drizzly to start, but I haven’t washed her since Oss’ ride and she was plenty dirty after that weekend, so screw it, ride now, wash later.
I did a couple hundred or so miles chasing trains thru the Berkshires. Found a nice mom n pop place for an excellent pastrami & cheese, chips and a coffee. Rolled in with just enough time to wash her up nice before dark.
Have to stop a few extra times and walk around a bit, funny, hip ain’t getting any better...but it was a good day for a ride!

Sorry for the hijack Rob,
Craig

Hey Rob, nice to see you and Brenda on the board again cooldude

Nice ride report.  I got out for a quick ride myself to get some new gas and stabul in one of my girls.

What's it take to hook that relive thing?

Hey, Bill. I just went to the App Store on my phone and downloaded it. I'm not real familiar with it yet though. I thought it would insert the pics where I took them, but it didn't. It's kind of cool how it shows the terrain level changes and speeds.

LOL, Rob.  When one marries an in demand woman he has to just take what he can get.  The bonus is having a pretty girl behind you even on a short ride.   cooldude

I also resprayed the top of my bags to match the tank better..... second time for the batwing too, didn't like the first attempt, Lots of hours done on it lately fine tuning to the fit I want..... but pretty much looks the same at a quick glance but fits better and I am happy with the look.

I will post some pics when done Smiley

the fairing and the bags are pretty cool, like the looks a lot, but what is that tall passenger backrest all about?  Do you have a very TALL lady sitting back there, to me, sort of looks out of place, plus the rear passenger rack behind it needs more bars (and bigger) IMO.

Woman..... that high bar is a request from the wife, had one on an old bike now everyone needs one but she doesn't go on the back often now (Knee issues) and my son might get his own bike (like my daughter) so I am thinking I may make a carry frame and remove the rear seat and bar during winter when she never rides, looks better without them but its OK with it IMHO

Thanks for the comments Smiley

Hey,  if the wife was/is happy with it on which would serve a good purpose,  keep it.  But, if not riding with you much now,  I'd take it off for sure just seems out of place like belongs on an old 1970's chopper.  If ridden with passenger though most of the time,  you would never notice the taller backrest with passenger on back.
