and he did swing down and hit the aides left arm when she was reaching for the microphone, with his left arm. it is very clear in the video.
very clear how his family got the last name generations ago. he is still the same.

Let's start by saying I am hardly a Trump fan. Despite that, he is this counties lawfully elected President. While Mr. Trump is hardly an image of Presidential decorum that does not mean the White House "Press" Corps has the right to ignore that decorum and behave like spoiled third graders. I may actually be slighting third graders with that description. I listened to the exchange on the radio as it happened and was seriously wondering if the Secret Service might have to get involved. Perhaps more members of the "press" should have their cards revoked until they remember to whom they speak. CNN will just have to find a replacement for Acosta. Maybe one that has some respect for the office of President even if of a different political viewpoint. The left press is going nuts about it on Twitter and calling for a blackout of whitehouse news. Could they do us that big of a favor?

Yeah-saw it live on the tube-well flat screen. The rep-er muck raker-definitely suffered from a SEVERE case of cranial rectal inversion. Or as we said on the flight deck-headupassitis. Pull more credentials til they straighten up. While I don't follow the P O T U S tweets I understand the WHY of him tweeting. Sometimes I wonder How he keeps from hitting some of those "reporters"? I was wondering why security let that exchange go on, if I were Trump I would have stopped and had him removed then continued. The president could have also confiscated all the footage of the event and not allowed it to air. That is the courtesy extended to actors and other presidents by the media yet to Trump they disrespect. Acosta was not asking questions he was making statements and accusations and his removal of press pass should have been done sooner. Its not only a sad day when the press thinks it can harass the president of the US, but to think that the harassment is going to get them the socialism they want is disgusting. Its not bad luck at all, its a planed war against any person that speaks against the plans of the left and should be stopped, cold. This is only a few headlines but not only headlines but attacks, its orchestrated, coordinated, unruly, designed to wear and break down the resolve to remove corruption and change the US back to the constitution. I say dry up the funds for these people, arrest them and the ones supplying the funds and then lets see what shakes out. CNN itself should be barred from the white house in response to their statement

About time a "reporter" was held to account for their actions. I wonder if the other "reporters" had a teachable moment? I doubt it!
Having him removed and charged with assault (of the young lady) would have been a more teachable moment. Revoking his pass was a start.
My apologies to the young lady for the reporters behavior.

He didn't assault the young lady per si BUT he did push her arm. She was just trying to do her job and move the mic but Acosta would have none of it. He was going to get his "question" in no matter what. It's about time that idiot lost his credentials. If a right leaning reporter had been this disrespectful towards Obama it wouldn't have taken this long to lose their pass.....

I like that the intern waited for a few heartbeats and then simply took the microphone from him. One swift decisive move. Not shown in the link above.

he slammed his arm down on her arm. he did it with force and speed. just touching is assault. then the President had to shut up a woman reporter who started on the President while he was still engaging acosta. They have zero respect for the Office of the President unless its a UN democrat in the office.

I would not have revoked his credentials. I would stare him down at the beginning of every press conference so he knew I was well aware of his presence and then not acknowledge he is in the room for the balance of the session.
When Trump turned and took a few steps away from the podium, I thought oh crap, he’s going to go get in his face. Luckily that didn’t happen and may not have been on his mind, but for a moment I thought I was going to see some “real” news!
The open hostility by the press needs to stop. It’s obviously directed to the President in a personal way. I believe you could question him on any of his policies and be very critical of his positions without drawing fire from Trump. But you are not going to get away with personal attacks that’s for sure. Trump may be a lot of things but from everything I can see he does and says he is not a racist.

While Not liking their policies I kept my pie hole shut and also understood policy was WAY above my paygrade. I stated earlier in this post-pull more credentials. I Still stand by that statement. Maybe by putting up with as much bull kaka as he does from the "news" "media" he is showing he ain't That thin skinned. BUT I fer one Already KNEW he ain't thin skinned. RIDE SAFE.

Decorum is a foreign word to MSM Journalists. How about a 3 strikes rule...after posting a "Decorum Guideline Signboard" at the entrance to the WH Press Room. Apparently this juvenile "Mob" needs engagement rules displayed for all to see. It would also allow more questions from "Adult" Journalists in the room.

"I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit." said Acosta. Hit? Is that a news term or do CNN reporters now compare themselves to hit men?

no matter how much hate you have for the Pres show some respect. I felt Obama was the devil and living evil but I still respected the position. The gal should have put a knee in his jewels or took his arm and twisted it back under and put him on his face. Sanders should have bitch slapped the fool when he got into it with her. He has made all news reporters look bad. I dislike most reporters, after all the lies from the Vietnam War. Acosta deserves just what he got and the other reporters better take note.

to the editor of the conservative section of our local combined liberal/conservative newspaper. Here it is.
Yesterday I watched a disturbing display by the Washington DC White House Press Corp. The disrespect for the office of the president of the United States was clearly evident, especially by the aptly named Acosta, reporter for CNN. I was reminded of a WWII TV series, “Band of Brothers” where a captain refused to salute a major, one he didn’t like. The major reminded him that the salute was for the rank, not the man. Respect the rank, like or dislike the man. Separate the two. As a Korean War vet, it made sense. It is quite evident and it makes sense that the majority of the media do not like president Trump and Trump’s dislike for the media is quite evident. However, rude, disrespectful, and arrogant behavior on the part of the media is out of line. Even down to earth citizens running a meeting according to Roberts Rules, would stop such nonsense as shown by CNN’s Acosta. So, how should the common citizen react to this? July 31, 2018 the News Sentinel published an editorial by the NS board which strongly made a case for honest and factual reporting. They respectfully took the president to task for denouncing the media as false news. I agree, up to a point. However, when I see examples like those of the press corp disrespecting the OFFICE of the President of the United States, I lose faith in everything that is reported by the media . Instead, I deduce that it’s an opinion based on hate (yes, hate) for the president and it seems to me that is true. Although the display on TV yesterday was quite evident of the media’s slant, more subtle reporting (opinions) are pursued by the printed word purveyors, the Associated Press. Quoting from an AP release by Steve Peoples in the local newspaper, he said this, “Nearly 40 percent of voters cast their ballots to express opposition to the president, according to AP Vote Cast, the national survey of the electorate, while one-in-four said they voted to express support for Trump.” What gobble-de goop! Apples and oranges comparison, plus a smidgeon of fox in the henhouse (the AP Vote Cast reference, not Fox News). I respect most editorials in the News Sentinel but telling me to respect todays news media, TV or written, is just too much of a stretch. The media’s successful attempt to top Mr, Trump’s blunt and crude attitude is rapidly erasing the medias most valuable asset..........................Trust in reporting.

I have no problem with them pulling the privilege of being in the WH press corp. I don't agree with the hoopla about him assaulting her, though. That's just going full snowflake. She reached across his body to attempt to take away the mic. In man bun land, that would be an assault. Time to let it go and see if there's been any elevation in civility from those still in the pool. Reporters absolutely have the right to ask questions. The President has the right to ignore them and set ground rules on behavior standards. Frankly, it's long overdue. The President is not a punching bag, and the left just keeps ratcheting it up. The whole Ted Turner legacy needs a good look at, see if they'd like to be hounded for a while.
