I already KNOW some here on the board have already put their Gals to sleep fer the cold time of year. I also KNOW in areas of the Country some of y'all got some of the white crappola on the ground that sorta makes ridin NOT fun. I on the other hand did manage bout 115 miles today. And I found out I Really NEEDED that ride. One of the banks I passed temp gage was showin 60 but the one on my handle bars never showed much more than 57. Kind of a milky lookin sunshiny day. And IF there was fall color here bouts it are Long gone. Most of what's left of the leaves are a sort of uniform brown. I'd have to say the bulk of the leaves are on the ground. Not Only did I Enjoy today but I KNOW Phatt Ghurl had a cursed good time too-She NEVER complained when I twisted her tail hard a couple of times-just her usual bellow at the high end of the tachometer.  cooldude RIDE SAFE. I know I KNOW-sooner rather then later I too will also be sufferin thru P M S.  crazy2

Got some ice here last night. Not a lot but enough to make it annoying. Good news is that the weather here will be into the 50's after Thanksgiving. At least so says the forecast.

This is good for Santa suit riding! Should be getting some in this year again.

You think drivers texting on cell phones are dangerous, try drivers using their phone to get your photo in your Santa outfit.

Lights the kids up though. So it's worth it.

Wife and I cold-geared up and rode yesterday afternoon between 2:30 and 4 PM when the temperature was at it's peak for the day at 57*.  A leisurely cruise down a state highway paralleling the west side of the main road (U.S.50) at 50 MPH, no traffic going either way, and zigzagging around cow pies.  Stopped and picked up a trio of tacos for dinner just as the sun started it's descent towards the western horizon and headed homeward.

Cold weather bearing down until next Wednesday when we may try it again.  Any time is a good time when we're rollin'. Cool

I slipped out yesterday afternoon for a quick 130 plus mile ride.   It was a great ride, though by some standards a slow one as it took me 2 and a half hours to do the ride.  Was enjoying the country side, smelling the roses.   Saw a few deer moving around but not up close to the road.  Rode thru pine forest and pasture/hay fields.  Over a few hills.   The last hour needed to switch to heavier gloves (have three levels of gloves).   Some of the roads ventured on will be for the last time till spring.   Weather folks are promising a change in weather for Wednesday, possible white in the mid and upper elevations.  So will begin my shorter and colder rides till springs.
