I rode most of the section above I-20 and it was pretty good--decent color and some spectacular color--it does get  a bit hilly way out east--half of it was  pretty narrow country lanes so 45 mph was a safe speed--I would imagine next weekend would be good too and the southern half below I-20 probably will be for the next 1-3 weeks--the signage on the route was very helpful and appropriate...the traffic flow on  I-20 was well over the posted 75 mph so getting out and back was quick cooldude
