To Me...........  set of 4 on the way along with work mat.

Keeps the tires round during non-use and are 12" tall at the bottom of the curve so lots of room for under-car servicing.

Just in time for old man winter and the winter parking laws (can't park on the street overnight).

So let me get this right, if you go out and put your car up on these blocks
it qualifies as not parking on the street.

Shortleg, that was great but he parks off street either at the bottom of his crazy steep driveway or in the side yard

Myself, I would not trust those things having had a steel ramp collapse from the weight of my 73 monte carlo

Eat any latkes tonite Gary?

It's just not a Holiday until you eat latkes!
My son was in town for one day only he left this afternoon so we celebrated early last night.
My Father in law is in rehab for a few more days so we brought in Chinese food and jelly donuts  to Helen Hayes.  Just not the same, hope to actually light candles and eat latkes at least once during the holiday

Was down in Delray Beach with Dad since Thanksgiving.  Left the family up hear because nobody could get away for more than the long weekend and drove down after work on Wednesday.  Hit a shitload of traffic until I got through Newark then it was clear sailing.  Got there right before dinner on Thursday.  We had a nice dinner at IHOP.  He was very happy and I was happy that I could be there with him.  1st "family" type holiday since Mom passed so I though it was important to be there.  While down there, he took me to a great deli/appetizing store and we stocked up on all of the old Jewish staples like pickeled herring, potato pancakes and latkes, whitefish salad, cream cheese and nova, stuffed cabbage, bagels and onion rolls (no bialeys), and 7 layer cake!

Last night was the first in 18 years that Eric wasn't home with me to light the candles.  I think he'll be home this weekend, though.

When's the next card game?
