The annoucement that Chrysler,Fiat is opening a plant in Detroit , the assembly plant, an old Mack II Engine Plant that closed in 2012, will build a new three-row, Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV starting in 2020. While US car manufactuers are scaling down production Trump is making other MFG.s see black in the US. I posted a bit of the article but we dont hear much news of these kind of things lately with the media being what it is.
We dont hear either about, ‘USMCA.’ not NAFTA the deal has a new name, new rules for cars and trucks, and labor and IP protections.
Europe may also be coming around to agree that the Iran deal was a bad deal and that it may have been best to pull out since Iran now has shown that it has missiles capable of a nuclear strike in Europe.

POTUS is in apex predator mode… the combination of USMCA and tariff possibilities are like blood in the water surrounding: Dr. Dieter Zetsche (Mercedes), Dr. Herbert Diess (VW), and Dr. Nicholas Peter (BMW); while Trump asks questions.
Geopolitical-strategy-Trump doesn’t care about delicate sensibilities, and Merkel is trying to have her cake and eat it too with NATO defense (U.S. pays) and self-serving energy contracts with Russia (Germany saves). Chancellor Merkel’s economic slip is showing and she is totally exposed to the massive leverage President Trump holds.
