The Talon?

I like the idea of the DCT on a SXS. I guess only time will tell Sad

How much fun does that look like?

If I had the land for one I would be all over one of those!

A little late to the game, but I suspect it will be the best, or close to it, out there.  I was just talking with some of the wife's relatives yesterday at a family Christmas gathering.  I was wondering if Honda would make an off road with their DCT.  Low and behold.  If I could get in their ear and I can't, even though it was developed at the Honda Research and  Development Center in Raymond, OH ( to some degree anyway ) they kept a tight lid on it as I never saw one out there in the daytime.   If I could get in their ear I would suggest to make a model only 50 inches wide ( which Polaris does, others may also now ) in order to take advantage of the trails in states like Michigan who have 6000 miles of trails, but limit to 50 inch width.

am surprised that MI limits so many trails to only 50 inches wide.  A ton more trails in WI offer unlimited width even though most trails being skinnier do not support very well such excessive width machines.  I was all over the Polaris Razor when it came out, but me being wider than most,  do not fit in any 50 inch wide machine seat very comfy and was too cramped to consider a UTV only 50 inches wide.

This will be a winner for sure:  big engine, very good ground clearance over 12 inches, and seems overkill, but 28 inch tires as well.  Can Am and Polaris better watch out if HONDA can keep it competively priced.  Their honda pioneer UTV is o.k. and neat idea for 3 or 5 passengers with flip up/down seats in back, but they needed a sport UTV all along and this looks promising.  Too bad am sure is 20K or close to it outta my range of comfort for such limited use.

That is interesting to know Cookiedough.  I figured other Northern States would have been at 50 also.  It was about 4 summers ago in the UP we rented a Can AM Commader for a couple of days in Curtis, MI.  They warned not to go on the trails due to the limit, however I did so anyway, for a short time.  These rigs are a blast.
