So I'm looking at the google map and I see one of those little
POI markers... Georgia Guidestones...

So I looked for a wiki page...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones

OK... so that's pretty weird... they're not far away from me... so over the
bridge to Georgia...

The map shows the stones are on 77, but I didn't want to just ride down
77, besides, that goes right through Hartwell... so before 77 got me to
Hartwell I headed out through the countryside hoping to
meet up with 77 again after Hartwell...

I passed a bunch of these funny train cars, just parked on the tracks for miles it seemed.
This area of Georgia is The Granite Capitol of the World, and I think these are granite
hauling cars...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elberton,_Georgia

I found my way around and met up with 77 again, and found the stones in a field
at the top of a hill...

After that I headed back to South Carolina over the Savannah River, and back home...

Thanks for posting that, I have often wanted to visit the sight and since you panned out a bit a and I got a bigger view of the site you get perspective on the area. One of the things I found interesting is the Denver Airport on the commemoration stone has a time capsule under it also and has the same color stone and the similar font of writing on it.

I wish I had taken a couple of pictures of the astronomical features...

There's an angled hole through one of the thick slabs, so the hole itself
is like two feet or so through... I guess if you look through the hole on
a clear night you'll see the north star... There's a slot in the ceiling
that gets the sun at noon each day... and a slot in the side that the sun always
shines through because it is aligned with the arc of the sun through the seasons...

I have read up on it and alot of planning went into the construction and alignment of the stones. So much different with hands on like you did, and I still may take some time and go see it.

The inscriptions are just to let you know that there are people who think about this country so much differently than how it was created. Things like this trully make you think and wonder if we really are in a civil war of sorts.

How timely since the new article in the NY Times article is in line with one of the mandates on the Guidstones, Within this structure are ’10 Commandments’ to guide humanity. These guidelines are written not only in English, but also in 7 other languages (8 total).

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature, and Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.

If we did this we would have to kill 90 percent of the population of the world. Hard to reconcile love and acceptance also talked about and kill 90 percent of the population.

The NY Times article is

NYTimes Suggests Human Extinction Not A Bad Thing As Climate Change Is Destroying The Planet

Human beings are destroying large parts of the inhabitable earth and causing unimaginable suffering to many of the animals that inhabit it. This is happening through at least three means. First, human contribution to climate change is devastating ecosystems, as the recent article on Yellowstone Park in The Times exemplifies. Second, increasing human population is encroaching on ecosystems that would otherwise be intact.

Its does not need any explanation to know many groups in the US also say population needs to be reduced and the fact that the author of the Guidstones and the purchaser of the field has never been revealed seems to say that there is something there.

In this I think tin foil hats need to be issued to those who see no significance in 10 commandments on the Guidestones or think that the purchasing and instructions on a quarter million pounds of granite aligned with the earth moon and stars able to withstand a war with the identity of the purchaser kept secret. All were sworn to secrecy and all documents destroyed and think it to be just a tourists destination. The suggestions in direct opposition to the Bible mirrored by many groups and yet its not to be questioned or thought of as anything significant or a soft declaration of war. Interesting.

Just some interesting facts about the monument
https://thoughtcatalog.com/jeremy-london/2018/08/27-bizarre-facts-about-the-georgia-guidestones/

I will leave you with this statement mirrored by many elites and with the troubles we have today will bring it home

Yoko Ono called the Guidestones “a stirring call to rational freedom.”

But I doubt any of them are volunteering... tin foil hats...

The second rule (I think) on the stones has to do with breeding people.

As far as destroying the earth goes, I bet 100,000 years after we're gone,
you'll hardly be able to tell we were here...

Lately we hear much about an EMP attack on the power grid and Trump is actually trying to update our current infrastructure that was left to deteriorate by the previous admin.

It was on purpose and planed just like open boarders, removal of the 2nd amendment, ISIS came into power under the previous admin and Syria got part of the nuclear material that was in the Uranium one deal that was authorized and supported by Hillary Clinton and Obama. Just a small tip of the iceberg of the 16 year plan to make the US come under the power of a global system that these stones represent and state the objectives just not the way it will be done.

Congress warned North Korean EMP attack would kill '90% of all Americans'

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/congress-warned-north-korean-emp-attack-would-kill-90-of-all-americans

Congress was warned Thursday that North Korea is capable of attacking the U.S. today with a nuclear EMP bomb that could indefinitely shut down the electric power grid and kill 90 percent of "all Americans" within a year.

Georgia Guide stone recommendation  Shocked

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature, and Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.

This would require to kill 90 percent of the population.

what a coincidence ???

Assuming the links in the above page lead to the real emp commission reports,
their assessment of a well executed emp attack jibes with what the

But I don't think the emp commission, or congress, or even the rothschilds,

But I'm sure that the average citizen did or I'm sure its something you or me could do on a Sunday afternoon.

Or I'm also just as sure that some rich person had nothing better to do than to spend millions of dollars, plan and buy property, sign non discloser documents, obtain granite and masons, design and plan a message and align and transport stones that weighed millions of pounds then align the stones with the earth moon and stars all while making sure no one reveals who did it, was just a lark for them with no purpose.  Roll Eyes   2funny 2funny 2funny

I'm also just as sure in the coincidence of the numbers killed to the numbers on the Guide Stones, or the inscription echos the ideology of many that want the open boarders, nwo, nope nothing to see here.

In any case still a great ride with great pics and I still want to see it thanks again  cooldude

Holy cow - do you even KNOW what an EMP attack IS ????

EMP stands for ElectroMagnetic Pulse. In practice, this would be accomplished by a high altitude atomic burst (possibly out in space) to disrupt electronics / communications - killing of the population would be minimal if any . An EMP attack would put most countries on this planet back in the stone age - since all our communications, and a good deal of our transportation, is controlled with electronics. Think  -your car would no longer operate. trains  / trucks / ships would no longer operate. The telephone system would be fried. satellite communications would be severely disrupted at best - probably fried . Ground based radio communications like TV and radio would be severely disrupted / fried. Our motorcycles probably wouldn't operate.

The only things that MIGHT survive would be military hardened equipment and old tech that doesn't use electronics ( - think - the old diesel trucks from the 60's, 70's and maybe the 80's).

I think we have some more debunked robert posts.

do you even KNOW what an EMP attack IS

The part of the emp committee report (an actual thing that seems to
have been commissioned by congress) about so many people being
killed was talking about after effects and other stuff... it claimed
500,000 people are in the air over the US at any given time and that many
of those planes would crash and many of the passengers would die...
A frizzed out electrical grid, they say, would leave the country powerless
for a year or more, food would run out and then it would be like a zombie
movie...

Mike you have it exactly right.

EMP kills relatively few, the disaster is in the long, miserable aftermath.

What our enemies should not forget, is that our nuclear capability (bombs, missiles and subs) is certainly hardened, and pay back will be a bitch (and not emp, but megatons that don't wait for an aftermath).

I sat at the console of the US's first operational Nuclear Launch Facility in Montana.  You go down an elevator, through an amazing blast door, into a little room mounted on heavy springs, with a bunch of electronic noise and blinking lights, with two big chairs.  You expect to hear the theme tune from Twilight Zone and it is a very sobering experience.

341st Missile Wing was the first United States Air Force LGM-30 Minuteman ICBM wing.

It was OK, they didn't give me a key.

Yup no power, no food, no or limited medical care, no cars, trucks, gas and the list goes on it could get pretty real, fast.

Thanks for those pics they are really good and as for the key I would trust you implicitly.  Wink

Just curious was there any noise in the room? Being that far down and isolated on springs did you have anything to break up the time?

That train reminds me of the time I was going through the desert and as far as the eye could see there was a train with tanks and military equipment going slowly along.

Even if they gave me a key, it takes two guys with two keys to launch, and out of a squadron of silos, someone higher up has to throw a switch somewhere to allow the silos to actually fire.  And that switch cannot be thrown, unless the POTUS orders it done.

The really surprising thing is that both launch control officers are armed with handguns.  No team of guys could get into one of those facilities in 20 days of hard work.  They are armed in case one of them has to shoot the other guy.... like he loses his mind and wants to launch on his own, or he refuses to turn the key after being ordered to do so.

As I said above, there is constant electronic noise, chirping, radios, teletypes, and a whole series of warning sounds/alarms.  I was only down there for 20 minutes or so, I was never a launch control officer myself.  Those guys do 24 hour tours down there, and the constant noise often drove them crazy, and at HQ 15th AF (half of all Strategic Air Command, all west of the Mississippi) we actually had some disciplinary problems with guys going in behind panels to turn sounds down or off, which was clearly against the rules.

You might wonder, who would volunteer to serve in a hole in the ground with the possibility of being ordered to launch end of the world missiles across the globe?  Most people don't know that the various service academies (West Point, Annapolis, and Colorado Springs) require all (or most, some are scientists) graduates going onto active military service to enter a combat arm career field.  And with a minimum 6 year active duty service commitment.

You don't get a free ride ride at one of the best universities in the country (mostly in the hard sciences, not humanities or gender studies) so you can go on to a job in supply or maintenance or personnel.  You go in harm's way.  In the Air Force Academy, the majority want to become pilots; fighters and bombers (not tankers and trash haulers/transports).  But everyone cannot be a pilot, or even a back-seater in two seat jets (weapons officer, or navigator in bombers).  So the vast majority of Nuclear Launch Control officers (also a combat arm) are Air Force academy grads who could not make the grade as a pilot for one reason or another.  The only other combat arm for officers in the Air Force is Security Police, and the PJs (para rescue) (which has very few officers).

That percentage of Academy grads going into Combat Arms sounds about right - about the only ones who don't are not physically qualified (color vision or injury during training), or maybe some jock going pro (David Robinson did 2 years Active duty as  an  officer at Kings Bay GA before playing in the NBA - and a good deal of his reserve commitment was publicitiy / recruiting). A like percentage of ROTC grads (especially scholarship (my commisioning source)) also do combat arms ( called Unrestricted Line in the Navy). Staff Corps (Physicians, Nurses, JAG, other profesionals) are usuaully recruited after completing their training (although there are programs where the services will pay for a Doctor trainee Med school, in exchange for a given amount of service - the med student is commisioned as an O-1 and upon completion is promoted to O-3).

I will say that 6 months - 1 year after commisioning - it really doesn't matter where you came from - everybody has to meet the same standards.

I know far less about the Navy than any other branch (funny, my first choice for a direct appointment as JAG was Navy).  (But that's another story)

My main point was that what I view as a very undesirable job of sitting in a hole in the ground with a nuclear key out in the boondocks of the Dakotas and Montana (mostly), was largely filled with academy grads who wanted to be pilots.  Also, not a career field with much chance of promotion to general for the career minded.  And, when I was on active duty, there was one top cop (SP) who was a brigadier (one-star).

The Air force is run by pilots (which should be a surprise to no one).    Grin

I seem to recall the Navy was run for millennia by surface boat drivers, but there was later some competition with aviation and even sub drivers.

I never had any problem meeting the physical requirements.  I do remember my Col hating that I turned in the best time in the office in three miles, pushing 40 (except for our most junior enlisted man), smoking a pack a day.  He hated smokers.

Why not Minot?  Freezin's the reason.

What's the State tree of North Dakota.   Telephone pole.

To err is human, to forgive is not SAC policy.

These and many more I learned in the Air Force.

NOT Sure cuz I can't see the surface of the car from the angle presented. IF there is a semi fifth wheel or two on the surface and its mounted on sort of a scissor thingy that would entail the entire trailer to be mounted to the car. Complete with the road wheels-NOT just the container/body assembly. A trailer can only be hauled on a rail car Singly in the vertical plane-NO stacking. Hope my attempt at an explanation helps. RIDE SAFE.

What an interesting experience.  I will ask you a question Jess, only because I know this happened.  Back in those days quite a few minute man bases lost all power for a short time when UFOs were sighted at the same time in very close proximity?  The Ufos leave and power comes back on.  Mufon and other organizations have documented these occurrences based on military personnel coming forward to describe what happened?  Same thing happened in Russia.

I never heard about this AD, and can make no comment about it.

Redundancy is a major part of our missile fields, and back-up power would seem to be part of it.

I am skeptical about UFOs, but I try to keep an open mind about it.

Thanks for the reply,  kind of what I expected, and something you have probably never been asked.  I am not skeptical in the least on the overall subject due to numerous experiences I have had, but I am skeptical about individual  extraordinary experiences due to the misinformation campaign by powers way above us.
