Say What You mean Mean What You Say

Rockyview County, Alberta 2001 Interstate

« on: December 28, 2018, 07:00:45 AM »

My wife and I are planning to ride Utah/Colorado/Arizona next September for about 2-3 weeks, but would like to trailer the bike down to Utah or Colorado as a central staging point. Three reasons...we don't want to be wasted when we get there. Having the trailer nearby in case of a mechanical issue. And maybe some shopping in the USA.
A few years ago we stayed at a place in Lake Havasu that had a secure offsite parking area for the car/trailer which worked out well, but only while we were staying at their motel.
Vegas was similar. We have family in the Denver area, but they are in a community with limited car only visitor parking.

I am in Pueblo, CO.

I have a large pad on the side of my house that would accommodate a car and trailer. You are more than welcome to use it.

I work from home, and am always around so they would be very secure.

I live in Elbert County, about 30 miles SE of the Denver area.  I have 2+ acres, with plenty of parking room.  I'll send you a message.

Click on the man's forum name on the left Darksider, it opens his profile, scroll down to bottom, click send a personal message.  I always save copies of what I send, for later reference.

Some guys post their email address on their profile too (but not Darksider).

Several times I have left truck and trailer at KOA campgrounds for around $35/week    I would think any campground could be negotiated to park short term
