Big Spoon? I'm thinking I really like that place! I'll have to take a pass in weather like that, however.... No webbed feet on this boy, and sugar ain't the only thing that melts in rain, ya know! Glad y'all got out, though, and Shelia's new trunk is looking mighty good!!!

Ahhh, the Fat Spoon! Yep, I do like their grits, and... the bacon they served was sensational, too!!! Still, those 'dirty grits' must be tried, so I'm reserving judgement on what might be my favorite meal there... And, then there is LA Pines... there are just so many good eateries down your way... hard to imagine being able to maintain my youthful figure by hanging out too much in those parts...
Yeah, you do have a rather exceptional spouse... No surprise to those of us who know her that she gets such a kick out of bike parts as gifts! One of my favorite memories of her was the admonishment she gave her surgeon about her broken wrist treatment!
Glad y'all got out, and really glad you managed to turn adverse weather into a great memory! Was that neighbor you mentioned Jeremy? If so, keep working on him... I think he might be a potential addict, too... He will need some work, however...

Unfortunately not yet, I don’t have the range of motion in my shoulder at this point to reach the clutch and right hand turns would be one handed. Will probably not be able to ride until after another surgery. But then I’ll be gettin some wind. Still looking for some bling for the Standard that is now sitting in my shop. I go out there on decent days and crank her up just to hear her purr.. You don’t happen to have a left side Tourer Saddlebag lid do ya?

Nice work. I'm only interested in solo bikes, and moving the trunk up is good ergonomics and better weight distribution.

I had one of those on my bike for the first couple of years. It worked great, held plenty, and had nice bright rear lighting. I finally had to retire it last year, the hinges broke out from a high wind gust... It looks great with the matching paint.

I like what you did there Dennis!! I do have the factory seats but I think I'd probably make the brackets and keep the seat intact. This is how I did mine for the big trip to Newfoundland and I was fortunate to make it back as I had too much weight on it!

Hey Terry I made the pan for the trunk and used SS bolts to use the seat brackets that way i can unbolt the trunk and put the seat brackets right back on the seat and bolt it back to the bike (don't see that happen lol) Did not weld any of it just SS bolts Hope this helps Dennis
