Watched the video and this guy may not be a total fake, some of the things he is doing would not turn out that way using the methods he is using.
A simple to see one is he is using small hair clippers to cut the nails that he just epoxied and pulled the dent with. Next his sanding disc that he uses to sand the epoxy that held the nails to the tank with are cut paper on the end of a drill.
While what he is doing is somewhat right he is full of sheet on some of the procedures and tools.
This video boarders on dangerous to the unknowing.
Never and I mean never if you suspect gas or gas vapors are in the tank use a match or torch to light it on fire and it will NEVER look like that if you do.
I dont know why he is doing this and while some of his procedures are real and work and I might say they do not work to the level he showing they do.
I know you posted this with the best of intent but things dont work this way and the guy I have seen before in other videos with the same false ways to go about things.

Wow. What a crock. I'm concluding this guy has actually created a sarcasm DIY video. To wit: That's really a "Goldwing tank"? Burn off the gas vapor with a match - look for an explosion not a roman candle flame. Welding with 110v household current? Note he even grabs both conductors inserting the wires. Even his "hot glue" is obviously a vinyl tube. A hand cranked ancient drill turning a homemade sanding disc? Cutting nails with a Swiss Army knife scissor? What's a "metric vise grip"? Nice "slide hammer". "Methyl-Ethel-Kacetone"? All of his methods are bogus. Anyone who tried any of his methods would get no results. Why does he want zero credibility? Gotta be making fun of DIY youtube videos. Or trolling to see what responses he gets. I must be getting old. Took me a couple minutes to realize this is tongue-in-cheek. Hmm. I gotta be sure to have a first cup of coffee and wake up before I look at stuff.

I thought as much just wasn't sure because what you see out there when people try and fix things can be scary. You have no idea how many people tell me, "OH, its so easy to fix a dent just use some ice". Thanks  |

MAKE SURE you wear thick gloves so you don't "burn" your hands. |
