Nice try, Serk. And I know you're smarter than this. Why go so low? Save that for the others.

I'm not going low, I'm going concerned. Being raised in a community that was targeted by the klan it gets me on high alert when I see a large group of politicians from the historical party of the klan dressing in partial klan uniforms wanting to take my rights away and steal my property, turning me into a partial slave.

Anyway, I've said my peace, nothing further will change your mind, or mine. I found their choice to be highly distasteful and for a side of our political spectrum so sensitive to offensive things even when they're incidental, they should have thought that out a little better.

You went very low. You know very well those women have no relationship to the klan.

I don't think it was low, I think it was a joke.  YOU (democrats) know very well trump has no relationship to the Klan, or the Russians, or any other multitude of hate groups that he is routinely accused of being connected to.  Please put a cork in the false indignation.

I don't think that Serk`s observation was a low blow at all.

The Democratic party was in fact the party of the KKK and the Dems are still keeping minorities oppressed and enslaved.

The only difference is that now they are doing so through government handouts.

So yes, it was a joke.

And yes, it was serious.

Serk is right on target, below is just what the left does, imbracing the UN 2030 agenda and other UN agendas.  The democrat philosophy is that same as the KKK, Nazis, socialists, communists, as in who they espouse and attract to blindly follow them.
The first Klan flourished in the Southern United States in the late 1860s. It sought to overthrow the Republican state governments in the South during the Reconstruction Era, it employed marketing techniques, used mass parades to intimidate others (news media today), oppose Catholics and Jews,  made frequent references to America's "Anglo-Saxon" blood (today white man bad, all men bad, etc.), hearkening back to 19th-century nativism,

For almost 3 years now, the President of the United States, and his whole family including dead parents, have been labelled as hate mongers.  They have been associated with Nazis, White Supremacists, and more.  Every act of hate that has occurred in the world has been tied to Trump in one way or another by the media.  The presidents mouth was said to be a dick holster for Putin on national TV.

But THIS fires up your indignation???

This comes from somebody the dems labeled idiot, trash, Basket of Deplorables, and the list goes on and we are worried about this, really? I didn't hear anyone here saying they are disappointed, get a life, stop the hypocrisy and understand what good for one good for all means.

If you are going to label anyone that has a different view point than yours with all these names and cry when it happens to those you care about then tuff luck, doubly so when you came to no ones defense and did not denounced this conduct. Your opinion on someones personal ethics has no weight at all, since the unfairness and unevenness of your decisions, judgements and opinions are found wanting.

Nope, you wouldx be wrong. Just a Google image, one of many.

I respectfully disagree with your statement.  Perhaps "not tolerated by all" would have been a better choice of words.  I enjoy the jokes, but that doesn't mean I won't post a witty (at least I think so) response.   The reason why it may have appeared one-sided with Obama and Clinton is there was so much material to work with.  And yes, Trump provides you with plenty of material on his own, but at least he is trying to accomplish what we elected him for.

My biggest disappointment in Trump was that he immediately broke his campaign promise to prosecute Clinton and the Obama Crime families regimes after his elections.

That is such complete bullshit, meathead, and especially insulting after the leniency I have given you and a few others.

I have certainly deleted plenty of posts about Obama or Clinton (as you say) that used demeaning names or profanity.  If you want to whine about the crap that you post that gets deleted then perhaps you were right and I was wrong.

I'm a bit pissed off at that disrespect.

I'd be interested in precisely what the "Left" side of this forum disagrees with in what the President said in the SOTU address.

So far all I'm getting is an extreme dislike of the man.  Well heck, I don't really like the guy but I do like (generally speaking) the direction he's trying to take this country.

I watched all of the SOTU. Trump recognizes that we are a Republic and that we will not become socialistic. The last part should never be assumed.

Serk's two pictures of white clothed Democratic freshmen (freshwomen) and the Klan, is, like mentioned, poor optics on the part of the women. They should've stuck with red, the power color,  Roll Eyes

However, what those women represent is far more anti-US, and far more dangerous the the KKK.  Socialism is crap and the very antithesis of a Republic (NOT republican)standard.  The stupidity, the foul mouths, the traitorous comments of these white clothed women,  coupled with the Democratic Party's rush to the far Left, is the danger.

BTW, when Presidents Trump's SOTU speech was over, it took me not more than two seconds to turn off the TV, thereby escaping all of the BS that was certain to follow.  For your info, Trump's speech made sense and I was in step with him on everything but his comment about socialism.

Vigilant is the key.

Those white outfits would look better with the stupid pussy hats "their people" wore on the DC Mall a short while back.

Very true, I’m not aware of what gets removed that I don’t see. But I do see a bias. Whether you see it or not. As an example, if I put up a post with a pic of Trump and a pic of the KKK and said they were equal, how long do you think it would be up ? Personally I would never put up such a post. I’m guessing minutes. If I were to put up a post with a pic of a dog shitting on a pic of Obama how long do you think it would stay ? No need to answer, it’s been done before. The point I’m trying to make is that any post that puts Trump in a bad light such as a quote he has made, a thing he has done is removed. Regardless of the accuracy. How many posts have we seen of Obama’s birth in Kenya, Clinton’s murdering associates, etc. that live here forever ?

To answer your question, no it’s not.

With President Obama I had some very specific disagreements and (if one cared to look) I often mentioned them.    So, please tell us what our President said that got you so whipped up.    Did Speaker Pelosi give the nod?   coolsmiley

Sometimes it's hard to resist when it's a soft target.  Evil

I manage to resist looking at most of their posts but there are some days the siren song is overwhelming.  Evil

Well heck, I don't really like the guy but I do like (generally speaking) the direction he's trying to take this country.

Wow, just wow. Didn't  listen or read anything about the SOTU but is here bashing Trump in a SOTU thread? Nice. The hatred of the man overpowers the direction of the country. I couldn't stand Obama, but the things he did I agreed with I gave him credit for.

Is this arguing? I thought it was discussing.

You aren't discussing anything since the thread is about the SOTU speech, which you have stated you have zero knowledge of.

Nice try. Actually, my involvement on this thread began with pics of the white dresses and pretty much stayed with that. Until I was asked for my input.

Thanks
