The real tragedy here is not that MAGA supporters were unfairly accused. But that now real victims will be looked at with suspicion.

Kind of like the false sexual assault charges against Kavenaugh.  But we DO have to believe the accusers don't we?  I mean after all, they wouldn't possibly make these things up, would they?

Feds and Postal Service are investigating him for mail fraud on the fake threatening letter he sent to himself.  Federal felony, a whole new level of hurt for him.

The letter reportedly contained a white powdery substance (he later admitted to being crushed pain killers).  Could through him in to the domestic terrorist category should the feds decide to pursue.  As you noted, should the feds choose to get involved, filing a false police report is going to be the least of his problems.

I know that, but it is not what the dems were telling anyone that would listen.  They knew they had nothing, yet they DEMANDED an FBI investigation.

This was not the first fake MAGA attack, not by a long shot.
And there have been real ones also. That’s not my point. This douchebag has cast suspicions on real victims regardless of MAGA, Trump, or anybody else. The effect might be less will come forward.
There have been real ones?  I don't keep up with the news so much.  Do you have a couple of examples of real MAGA attacks?

There have been real ones?  I don't keep up with the news so much.  Do you have a couple of examples of real MAGA attacks?

here is one, there are others
A liberal pulled a gun on a man in a Kentucky big box store allegedly because he was triggered over the man’s Donald Trump campaign MAGA hat.

Police in Bowling Green, Kentucky, say James Phillips was arrested after witnesses said he pulled a gun inside a Sam’s Club outlet because the victim was wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat.

A police report notes that the suspect admitted to getting upset over the headwear and that he “flipped off” the MAGA hat wearer, according to WBKO-TV 13.

The victim, Terry Pierce, told police he had a right to wear the hat. “I have as much right to wear that hat and support my country and my president as he has not to,” the Sam’s Club customer said.

Pierce added that Phillips, “Pulled a .40 caliber out and stuck it in my face, backed up and said, ‘It’s a good day for you to die.’”
Fight Like a Man

This story get better, because the victim was willing to stand up for his beliefs. In fact, Phillips told Pierce to set the gun aside and settle the argument the old-fashioned way. But instead of being a man, the leftist ran out of the store like a punk.

In fact, when this liberal realized he wasn’t man enough to take on this Trump supporter, he tried to play the victim instead.
The victim said he followed the gun-toting Trump hater out of the store where Pierce claimed the MAGA hat-wearer was “harassing” him.

Police reported that store surveillance video substantiates Phillips’ story and that he never laid a hand on the Trump-hating assailant.

Officials said that when he was arrested, Phillips had a .40 caliber Glock handgun with a bullet in the chamber sitting in his pocket . He also had two extra loaded magazines on his person.

Phillips was charged with wanton endangerment first degree and was booked into the Warren County Regional Jail.

So, exactly where is Pelosi’s outrage? Where are the liberal calls to action? This is the third time in recent weeks that we’ve seen a MAGA Hat at the heart of controversy, and it’s the third time leftists were the true offenders. Coincidence?

So.....the blatant and obvious truth of what President Trump regularly states bothers you apparently?  ??? The press is indeed the enemy of the people "now", they are not interested in reporting the TRUTH, it's all about shock value, biased reporting, blatant manipulation, and ruffling moderate and conservative feathers now. Well those things and ruining the lives of innocent people through smear campaigns, false allegations, and the fact that the overwhelming majority of the press and social media is extremely liberal biased owned and operated. But hey, don't take my word for it, how about the word of someone very qualified who REALLY knows the truth.  Wink

CNN,MSNBC, NY times...ect, they prove time and again they are not for fair treatment of the current president or any republican for that matter. They have 90%+ negative reporting on Trump. Pretty sure our forefathers, at the time, would not have considered a Press beholden to the British Monarchy "Free".

Much of our Press seems to be beholden to the Democrat Party. They don't even hide that now.

No.  No, you can't.  President Trump has never advocated violence against any TV personnel.

BTW, baldo, that's the second time you've done that that I've noticed.  Lower casing the President's name.  I didn't feel it right to do so without alerting you, but in the future I will remove any posts in which you do that.  I consider that a personal attack on a group to which I belong.

No.  No, you can't.  President Trump has never advocated violence against any TV personnel.

Per Wikipedia : Origins of the expression

The expression dates back to Roman times.[1] The Senate declared emperor Nero a hostis publicus in AD 68.[2]

The words "ennemi du peuple" were extensively used during the French revolution. On 25 December 1793 Robespierre stated: "The revolutionary government owes to the good citizen all the protection of the nation; it owes nothing to the Enemies of the People but death".[3] The Law of 22 Prairial in 1794 extended the remit of the Revolutionary Tribunal to punish "enemies of the people", with some political crimes punishable by death, including "spreading false news to divide or trouble the people".[4]

Sounds to me when he says the press is the enemy of the people he is advocating violence and even death upon them.

And here I thought we were making progress.  coolsmiley An origin of something usually goes back some time. That's why they call it the origin. This one happens to go back to the Romans. To break it down for you. The meaning of the saying was to cast aspersions on those you called "enemies of the people" up to and including death. Trump calls the press "enemies of the people" constantly. When someone is your enemy you wish to destroy them, banish them, punish them in some way. Maybe Trump doesn't understand what he is saying. I don't know.

I don't know.

as most of your postings, you have that backwards and spilling a mistruth.  An enemy of a person is against that person.  That person does not have to be an enemy back.
 definition enemy
a. One who feels hatred toward, intends injury to, or opposes another; a foe.
b. One who opposes or is hostile to an idea or cause: an enemy of democracy.

the news media is the enemy of the US Constitution as are a high % of democrats.
There is zero definitions of enemy which states it is reciprocal.
Jesus says love thy enemy, and forgive 7 times 70.

Really ? I thought for sure you would have heard of this one, it was just a couple weeks back.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-47208909

And you can lay that one right at trumps feet. He's constantly calling out the press as 'enemies of the people'. I hope that it comes back at him BIG TIME one day.

Yet, the "obummer administration " is ok ?

BTW, baldo, that's the second time you've done that that I've noticed.  Lower casing the President's name.  I didn't feel it right to do so without alerting you, but in the future I will remove any posts in which you do that.  I consider that a personal attack on a group to which I belong.

No, it's not.  I have deleted plenty of posts referring to President Obama as obummer.  I haven't noticed your reporting any recently.  Come to think of it, never.

I don't normally allow public complaints about the administration of the board to remain.  I did this time as a personal favor.  You, baldo, and a handful of others are in no position to complain about how the board is administered.

Those are your words not mine. I said I would try to be respectful of others and not ridicule anyone. I think I've done that. (I'm not sure how long I was gone. It felt much more than a week though)

is MH using the same angle?  if so, just sick. Although there are many liberals that call for the President's death. how about that kathy griffin for one. and lets not forget spike lee,who is allowed to call many people to die over the yrs and he is applauded by the left wing.
