I hope all of you catch tonight’s show featuring Lara Logan. She is a journalist in the purest sense of the word and she is spelling out how things truly are in the media today. Very enlightening and validating of what we all suspect and know in our hearts.

When Trump took office and spouted out the media is an enemy I dont think anyone knew just how bad it was. Its nice to see that things are starting to be recognized for what they are and changing.
If the media does not report fairly then its nothing more than propaganda.

She made the point that not all of her colleagues support the company line but are afraid to speak out as she has done for fear of losing their career. She also said that there is little investigative reporting going on because it would not be allowed to see the light of day. Our current setup is little better than the government controlled media outlets in foreign countries.
Local news, weather and sports are about the only untainted source.

Indeed she laid it out exactly how it really is. My wife controls the remote at night and flipped back and forth at commercials between Mr. Levin with Ms Logan, and one of my favorite TV personalities, Josh Gates, in Egypt Live. In the end we watched both in entirety. I like how Mark Levin just lets his guest go on with their thoughts with little interruption. The show does repeat later in the week.

The use of the term all could be correct or incorrect depending entirely upon what group the poster intended by the use of we all. The first person plural pronoun clearly indicates a group to which the poster belongs but doesn't specify which group. It appears meathead assumed that the term we all indicated the entire membership of the VRCC message board. Even if it did mostly would be much more applicable than hardly.  |

So u consider the US constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence political? Because everything Levin talks about he backs it up with those documents. maybe u should spend some time reading those documents, so u can understand. |

When I worked at Kroger a lifetime ago we had a guy in the meat market that had 3 PhD's and spoke 8 languages fluently.... Very interesting character.... Don't remember the 3rd, but one of his PhDs was in languages, one was in philosophy... Used to love sitting down and chatting with him during our smoke breaks. And he was making a living cutting up dead animals... (We also had a full blown Franciscan Friar monk in our deli. He got approval to work, but had to take one of the 3 knots out of his rope belt since he wasn't holding to his vow of poverty by working. Another guy I loved to sit and chat with...) |
