I almost hate to say so but I agree with Jeff.

It was a waste of federal money, time and effort.  A meaningless witch hunt investigation based upon a commonly known lie (no investigation of the presenters of the lie.)

I heard the result of the report and what they didn't find.  With apologies to my friend, Serk, anyone who feels the need to wade through the hundreds of pages resulting from that original lie must be incredibly stupid.
with my apologies to you, anyone willingly wanting to stick their head in the sand must be incredibly stupid.
I hope you're not implying that anyone who finds it unnecessary to read the detailed report of a bogus investigation after seeing the announcement that the investigation found no evidence of what it was supposedly seeking, is a case of sticking one's head in the sand.

My observation still stands that it is more than odd that no one is calling for the investigation of the party (parties?) that worked with foreigners to present the false document that led to the bogus investigation.

It's been a long, long time since I was meaningfully accused of being stupid.  It still hasn't happened.
Oh, but our president has been calling for the investigation that you wish. And now his Attorney General seems to be parroting that also. You may yet get your wish. (I would never meaningfully accuse you of anything)  Wink

You don't think there should be an investigation to determine whether senior government officials lied to a FISA court and if so hold them accountable?

-RP
I have no problem with that.

Good, then we're all in agreement with the president and the attorney general on this.

-RP
Not exactly. They both are going way more out there than what you said. Implications of spying, etc. with no evidence.

I cannot imagine anything more a waste of time than reading this thread except reading the Mueller report.

Countless people have poured, scoured, examined, genuflected, fabricated, questioned over this report and all we hear is crickets. If there had been something there the left would be shouting from the rooftops. I will let the ones qualified that I have faith in like the insanity of the left, the brains of the three letter agencies, some on congress and numerous interested parties to reveal to me what is in the report that is of any interest. Using my time wisely and not wasteing my time is the intelligent thing to do and like this post fall for innuendo and veiled ideas.

Unless there is going to be a prosecution of the fabricators of this hoax that cost millions of dollars to totally debunk, then reading it is a total waste of time and serves no purpose at all.

I find it funny you are asking the same question over and over like you are demanding an answer, but when we do the same to you, you ignore or sometimes give answers of questions never asked. WHY? Are you really that self centered you think you are above most? You sure act like it. To answer your question, I have read right at 300 pages have not skipped any or skimmed.

We're clearing out our rented storage unit... I have gone through some of my old
comics, so far I've kept some (my 70s era Dirt Bike magazines and MX Action
magazines are in there too  cooldude )... I took a whole bunch over to the
Salvation Army the other day, including a whole bunch of mint Cerebus comics...

So... reading a report of an investigation that was triggered by a FAKE, FALSE Dossier, paid for and issued by Hillary Clinton to smear her opponent.

so Fake Dossier = Zero facts
muller report based on zero facts = Zero facts.

add that all up and we have a big ZERO.

That is pretty much my understanding of this whole thing. The Dossier should have been investigated first then they would have found out it was fake and there would not have been any further investigation.

I'd rather read the phone book.

I've never been much of a fishing fan (too much sitting and waiting), so who wants to read a 35 million dollar fishing expedition?

It was the loose lips (alcohol induced) of Papadopolous talking to an Australian diplomat, that started the investigation.

Merriam-Webster: an investigation that does not stick to a stated objective but hopes to uncover incriminating or newsworthy evidence
per Wikipedia (and most other sites)

According to its authorizing document,[3] which was signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on May 17, 2017, the investigation's scope included allegations that there were links or coordination between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the Russian government[4][5] as well as "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation."

The point of the thread was to see where people were in the reading of the report. It quickly devolved. I tried to steer it back, but I should have anticipated that was futile. As to my "superior intellect ", I don't see it. Maybe you do. I consider myself of just average intellect. MANY are much smarter than myself. As to your "collusion thread" I don't believe anything I said played a part in its lockdown. But you'd have to ask Willow about that.

So, again the point of the thread was to see where people were in the reading. Much to my surprise the average seems to be about page 3.

I skimmed through it.

Two important takeaways from the report:

1. Hillary lost.
2. President Trump is still the President.

(ps, it's likely he will be re-elected)

Ok, reading the report now. 1st problem and apparently EVERYONE has glossed over this.

(Vol. 1, page 1) "Evidence of Russian Government operations began to surface in mid 2016. In June the Democratic National Committee and it's cyber response team publicly announced that Russian hackers had compromised its computer network."

It goes on about Wikileaks and publicly reported "evidence" but the genesis for all of it is the DNC.

The evidence is that the DNC said the Russians hacked'em. This is right out of the gate of the Muller report.

I'm reading this in a PDF format and I can't cut and paste. Man, I wish I could. What a bunch of crap.

"In sum, the investigation established that Russia interfered in the 2016 Presidential election through the "active measures" social media campaign carried out by the IRA..."

That is not interfering with an election. That is just messing with people's minds which is done everyday on "social media".

Russia didn't hack voting machines, bribe election officials, cast illegal votes, register people not legal to vote. Nor did they conspire with the Trump campaign to do any of that.

Hell, that was all Democrats right there.

All the "Russian" information was garnered from US Intel services. (Or anonymous sourced press reports)  The heads of those Intel services are on record in being rather biased against Trump. I question the sources of this information because of that and because this is claiming the Russians invested a lot of effort in this and I can't see any obvious upside for them in doing it.

There are other countries who I can see a tremendous upside for hacking the DNC. And specifically the DNC. Well, one in particular that has the motive and tech savvy to pull this off, and its not Russia.

Lot of circular reasoning stuff always coming back to conclusions that the Trump campaign and Trump didn't do much wrong here. If anything at all.

Point to the sections you want to go through and discuss. We'll discuss them. Difficult to do as an entire work product. Much of it is repetitious anyway.

The Muller report FAILED the insurance policy they so needed has FAILED now, terror and I think we will see more and more turn on one another. No longer a conspiracy theory but a conspiracy fact.

Sara Carter: Deep State DOJ and FBI Operatives are Panicked, Ratting Out Each other

Maybe the Muller report was not only about Trump.  Cool

BREAKING: JW announced today that a senior FBI official admitted, in writing and under oath, that the agency found Clinton email records in the Obama White House, specifically, the Executive Office of the President.

The FBI also admitted nearly 49,000 Clinton server emails were reviewed as result of a search warrant for her material on the laptop of Anthony Weiner

Judge Royce Lamberth ordered Obama admin senior State Dept officials, lawyers & Clinton aides to be deposed or answer written questions under oath. The court ruled the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to govt transparency”.

@TomFitton said, “This astonishing confirmation, made under oath by the FBI, shows that the Obama FBI had to go to President Obama’s White House office to find emails that Hillary Clinton tried to destroy or hide from the American people”.

Well at least if nothing else you stated up front the reason for the post. Nice job coming out of the innuendos for once.

NOTHING and I mean NOTHING will make you see the benefit Trump has been to the US so any political post you post is tainted.

Most reality based people will understand the good and bad of a person and the decisions they make as they effect our country. Most know and understand and look for doing good for the people around them. As with the left this is a long gone ideal.

You can dislike the decisions the person make yet understand the direction they are taking and extrapolate if they have the best interest of the country at their heart. You can also dislike the decisions and still not hate the person but in your case I guess that is not true.

Mueller latest accomplishments have been the endorsement of the Hillary uranium one scandel and personally bringing the uranium to the Russians. I can go into many other negatives about him but really, whats the point, most already know and you are blind.

meuller as platoon point man led his platoon into an ambush, where half of his men became casualties. then to save himself and the rest of his men, then no question he did do very brave and heroic things while under fire and how he received his medals.

Trump graduated military high school, Trump followed the draft laws dealing with school as thousands of other young men did and he received a very low draft number.

Not like bill clinton who was a draft dodger by lying to his recruitment officer for yrs and using democrat delay tactics.

so what was your stupid post about again?

So Mueller has a lot of combat medals, has a top notch reputation among his peers, lead a two year multimillion dollar spare no expense investigation with no outside interference and yet you and the Democratic Party are not satisfied with his results and must dissect every sentence of the report to see what he missed and find the subliminal messages that will unlock the mystery of how to defeat a fairly elected President. ...

No, actually he lied about the purpose of the thread.  It wasn't at all about who was reading the Mueller "report" and how much.  It was just one more opportunity to display his and baldo's hatred for the duly elected President of the United States.

Unfortunately the spewing of such hatred results in persons from the other side spewing their own hatred.

I am so snuggling tired of this.  Those of you that see it your opportunity to repeatedly post you hate inspired points of why you hate whom you hate, couldn't you just take a break from that destructive behavior?  This is a community of people who have something in common and we care about one another's welfare.  We do have points on which we disagree but as a community it's not helpful for us to try to drive away everyone with whom we disagree.  That would result ultimately in a board of one participant.

When one repeatedly post his own hate inspired observations he has demonstrated that he is not one who cares about the welfare of the community but is intent on destroying the brotherhood.  That applies to both those of the right and those on the left.  If you have trouble determining whether you are part of the problem PM me and I will certainly tell you "yes" or "no."

I, for one, am snuggling sick and tired of it.

It pretty much already has.

Just so there's no confusion, we have been hurt but it's not down to one yet.  In the past week we have had a little over six hundred members logged in.  In the past month we have had just a little under a thousand.

We do need to stop the slide.

Well at least if nothing else you stated up front the reason for the post. Nice job coming out of the innuendos for once.

First you lump me in a category of stupid, for reading the report. Now you call me a liar. I would have expected better.

Yeah Rob tell me how that makes you feel? Turn about is fair play. Before you start throwing rocks at Carl. Take a look in the mirror. You can't expect "better" if you're not willing to give "better" yourself.

IF, my memory serves me correctly, Meat was resigning from the board and then came back, OK, that was probably a good thing. When he came back his self professed cry was," I need to stop the political posts", OK. But now we have this post plus a few others, OK.

So maybe he should have stuck to his original promise when he came back?

Also personally I did not see Carl say anything negative about Meat either, he stated a clear position on expressing ones views in a way that although different does not cause division.

I’m going to go on a self imposed general board ban for a week. In the early years I lived on the tech board where the pioneers of Valkyrie maintenance and modifications shared a wealth of knowledge. Maybe I can discuss oil and such without ruffling any feathers and learn a thing or two, I’m not sure how much I remember from my more consistent riding days.

We do need to try and not let the politics of the day control our thoughts as much as we do. The oil comment was a joke, I promise to not bring that subject up!

Meathead, I rarely, if ever reply to political post and am not really replying to this one.
