Is it just me, or all over the US there is more rain more so than in years past basically this year and last year?  I remember past 5-20 years or so there being droughts where we get no rain for weeks and the grass needs NO mowing for 3-4 weeks (one good side).  Especially last year and this year seems rainier (wetter) than normal grass is growing like weeds needing mowing before the 5 days is up before next weekend, well almost.  I usually let it go until the weekends since do not feel like it after work Monday thru Friday.

Anyone experiencing more rain than normal it seems like last year or two,  or is there still drought conditions across the US?

It's been wetter in KC - we're up over 5 inches of rain over normal, and we have the flooding around us to prove it. There are still fields that the Missouri River flooded that can't be plowed - too wet.

Same here in Colorado.  Everything is so green that it's like I'm riding in a different place.  Lots of snow remains, too.  One of the ski areas will be open on July 4th.

More in Arizona too. And of course, now that it is 110 degrees, all wild grass and small plants have dried up and we now have the infamous WILD FIRES!  Sad

It's been a cooler wetter spring here that's for sure but next year we'll probably be complaining how dry it is.

We haven't had much rain here for quite a while now. I've started watering my fire bush. because I've noticed the leaves starting to turn red and curl up. Normally doesn't happen till mid/late July, after a fairly wet June.

MORE than our fair share in south eastern Missouri.  Lips Sealed Plus I need 2 dry days in a row Before I can bale-er cut my grass.  Roll Eyes And even after 2 dry days it really do Not dry out.  crazy2 Still packs up the deck but not near as bad as cutting really wet.  Lips Sealed Found out the Missouri strawberry crop already trashed. On the other hand farmers and ranchers in my area gonna have a BUMPER CROP of hay. And with the saturated ground lotsa trees fallin over. Has someone P Od Ma Nature?  tickedoff RIDE SAFE.

yah, am nearby you about 50 minutes away and last 2 days said 40-50% chance of rain but NO rain fell, only appeared like it would Monday and Tuesday all around.  could have taken cycle/scooter to work but then it would rain coming home even more so am sure.....

speaking of rain,  it is downpouring in my backyard now but sunny in the front right now,  what the F!

im in southern Wisconsin . . . and didn't get my boat out of storage last year at all . . . .

I've heard the definition of an optimist is a person who owns a convertible in Wisconsin. He hopes summer falls on a weekend.

I believe my yard has been wetter this year than the last 28 years we have lived here (just south of Indianapolis). Local news reported it had rained every weekend since the Superbowl (finally broke the streak last weekend).

Must be the weather or something but this is the first time living here in 25 years of having a garden that I have had to replant 3 times my green beans and still only 1/2 of them are up and giving up since 3 times is enough.  I think the first 2 1/2 times the seeds must have rotten in the ground guessing too much rain?  The 3rd time I tried different seed packs and varieties and only 1 of the 3 packs of different seeds came up to any degree the 3rd time, the other 2 packs maybe 1/3rd of them came up.

In all years past,  90% or more came up sprouting thru the dirt no issues, very weird indeed....
