Time for a new helmet so after shopping a few dealers and a few hours of reading and watching videos I decided to order a Shoei Neotec 2. I never thought that I would spent that much for a helmet but every review and salesman would say there is nothing like a Shoei or they are one of the best, if you can afford it buy a Shoei. They do have a great feeling and looks like a quality product. I bought it from a local dealer and he offer 20% off. So anyone want to buy a my old HJC?

Bought an RF-1200 last winter on eBay for around $350. Most comfortable out of the box helmet I've ever owned.

The Shoei Neotec 2 looks like a nice helmet but, I'm thinking I'll go with a modular flip up like the Shark Evoline 3. Cost is not my reason, function is. But, to each their own.

yah, modular flip up helmets, for me anyways, is the way to go. Love flipping it up when in towns leaving it open to breath better and drink some fluids while driving....

I like Nicholsen's 50s era helmet. I just can't figure out if it was Notre Dame or Georgia Tech gold.

The shark Evoline was the best I have ever owned you could ride at one hundred miles an our with the modular chin way back ,open air ;but also not so dry in heavy rain. (closed)

I like Nicholsen's 50s era helmet. I just can't figure out if it was Notre Dame or Georgia Tech gold. But for me, visually I think that Peter Fonda's helmet was the coolest looking ever. My first helmet was that design in really big metal flake in the early 70's. I thought I was the baddest cat on the block.
