"RIDE SMART" -Tx track day school has rented the race track in Austin for the 2 days after Thanksgiving--$400 a day but truly spectacular--go fast and be safe--you can top out on the back straight on most anything as it is some 3/4 mile long with a blind slight right bend for most of it

Is that 400 per cycle or a group rate?

Do you have to have full armor protection such as riding boots and protection pants/jacket and SNELL vs. DOT approved helmet?

I was going to take my cycles to the somewhat close 1 1/2 hour away 1/4 mile track but after seeing their rules on full body protection having to spend 300-500 bucks and more for their proper attire such as SNELL NOT just DOT helmet and no blue jeans but armored pants and cycling boots I decided was not worth my time/money.  I have a full armored jacket and DOT helmet and blue jeans should be good enough right not like I have not gone near 100 mph before in a 1/4 mile or tad bit more....

$400 PER PERSON..AT WHAT IS WIDELY ACCLAIMED TO  BE THE FINEST RACE TRACK  IN  THE WORLD--THEY  REQUIRE FULL RACING GEAR BUT THEY RENT IT PRETTY CHEAPLY ON-SITE--LOTS OF INSTRUCTION ON AND OFF TRACK-CLASSROOM ATTENDANCE-REQUIRED--I JUST GO FOR THE 2 REALLY LONG AWESOME STRAIGHT-AWAYS
