I left Inzane early because we thought the new baby was coming. I promised a couple of people I would post a pic. Sorry it has taken so long but here she is at about a month old. She ended up being born July 5th. I still have to learn to resize the pic. So far every pic I have where I'm holding her I'm in a VRCC shirt lol.

that is a very awesome pic kid is even smiling at you - congrats!

gotta do some catching up to the lady I work with she is around age 66 has 10 kids of her own and she has 46 grandkids total - WOW!  In the last 1 year alone, 5 grandkids were born.

You know what they all were doing in their spare time having only one hobby..... :2funny:

I have enough trouble remembering my 2 kids names, let alone 40+ newbies.... :o

makes for one heck of a family reunion though... :coolsmiley:

I think that is maybe why she still works since over age 65 can retire but does not, gotta afford presents for everyone...   Whatever her reason for staying on part time working 20 hours per week is all, I am glad, more like grateful,  she does stay on for without her with me having another much slower, older co-worker to deal with,  I would be toast.  My young 32 year old millenial worthless female boss is clueless on how and what we do daily which is the main reason I wanna get outta there, let alone once the time comes in next 1-3 years when the excellent worker part timer officially retires to actually enjoy full time her grandkids.  Boss knows I do 65-70% workload even has told me in private, but the paycheck does not reflect it even after saying over 6 months ago if I continue to do above average work since cannot compensate me with a higher hourly pay rate (which is also B.S.),  a one time bonus is possible.  Is all talk is all it is just to string me along forever.   :tickedoff:  I refuse to work for a worthless bitchy useless boss for next 20 years for peanuts.....  There is a reason (or a few) on why 3 before me have not stayed over 1 year there to replace that now part time grandma who is an excellent worker whom I found out makes about 5 bucks more per hour than me doing same job :coolsmiley:  If that place could squeeze a penny out of their rear end,  all the higher ups making big bucks would be fighting over it.

Sounds like typical Corporate U.S. which I am also at the bottom of the pile of.

yah,  being grandma/grandpa one day is in the cards probably, but to have 40+ and she is only age 66 or so is beyond my comprehension.  Not so sure I am ready for being called gramps hopefully in 8 more years or so and no whoopsies........

sorry for the side track rant, but really irks me to have a young supervisor that does not know our daily jobs and thinks she knows 'in theory',  yet does not talking thru her keester...

Oh yes, those little ones are special and really soften the heart of us oldsters. At present I have 17 grandkids, the eldest(twins) turned 40 last May, the youngest is 12. As for great grandkids, I lost track around a dozen but know there's more on the way since a lot of their parents are still in a productive state. In fact, this past July I met a few greats grandkids I had only seen via Skype or pictures. What a thrill that was. One little gal came up to me on the couch and said "do you know how old I am?" Nooo...! "Well I'm five and don't you forget it cuz I've been waiting aaallll my life to meet you." Only been waiting five years but who's counting?  ;)
