When I was a kid, we had a milkman. He grew up next farm over from my mother and on fridays, he would ask mom if we had been good all week?  If yes, he would give us a half gallon of chocolate milk in a glass bottle. Course, the regular milk also came in glass half gallons.

Chocolate milk in glass bottles always seemed to be colder when pulled from that ice cold water cooler.

Funny how things change and come back. We now have a milkman again and they use glass bottles. Does it cost a little more, yes. But its all local and I do love me some chocolate milk in glass bottles!

never seen chocolate milk ever in glass bottles.  Must either be a regional thing or the stores around me never carry it or it was out when I was a kid maybe in the 70s and 80s?
