Tuesday morning  he  being admitted to the hospital for major surgery. I will be there for 4 to 7 days and a month recovery time.   Please keep me in pleasant thoughts during that time. I will update at a later date.  Thanks!!

Intestinal surgery is rough. They have me up and sitting in a chair today.  Morphine every couple hours.  I will touch back again later

Jeff had an infection and some bile leakage, he's still in pain, they reversed the first surgery. I spoke to him for a moment last night, he was in pain, and said he couldn't talk. Dianne visits him all day and each night. More when I know more!

Tonights report from Diane says that Shorty is back in surgery and not doing well.  They both need prayers.

Shorty has been in critical condition on a ventilator.  The word from Diane tonight,7/19, is that he is starting to improve and they plan to pull the ventilator tomorrow.  Let's all put in a good with the big guy, for the big guy.  I am sure he is not out of the woods yet.

They did an MRI on him, no results yet. They took him off sedation, but he did not wake up. Prayers and good thoughts, please!

Dianne said he had a good day yesterday! He knew who she was, and was able to answer the Doctor's questions. His gall bladder is still leaking, so they have him on a couple of broad spectrum antibiotics. Day and a prayer at a time.

Dianne said he's doing better, and they will be moving him to a nursing facility within the next couple of days! Still intubated, running a low grade fever, but sitting in a chair, knows who he is, and who she is, responding to questions! Day at a time, all good!
