Tally Rally Oct. 20-23

Didn't make it last year so I'm in for what ever

That's a gorgeous ride,  do it again.  I'm still going to be a last minute decision on making it.

I hope it works out Mike. 

I too liked that ride, I also loved that pork store.

We will do Bradly's Country Store again. I ate there last week.

Ok, on Friday we will ride the "Forgotten Highway" from Hway 59 to Apalachicola for lunch. I just wanted to be sure it was liked enough to do it again.

For anybody heading up 19 to the Tally Rally, Don, Roxy and Patti and me will be meeting up at the Homosassa Racetrack between 12 & 12:30 on Thursday. Gill will be tagging along for half the ride up.
Let us know if you want to join us on the ride.

  I talked to Wood Butcher today. He and Erin will join us on Friday. They were planning on joining us on Saturday too but his folks will be coming up to Perry for a Community Fish Fry. He will be attending that with his folks. He said it was a fun time with free fish fry for all. Good food and events. I told him I'd let ya'll know about it. He may talk about it on Friday while he is with us. The ride I have planned for Sat. is not going in that direction. But you are welcome to attend.

Ok. Today is mission prep day for the bike. Oil change and air filter (K&N) recharge. I always get excited at the opportunity to clean under the tank. Lol

Can't wait!!!

Added:  All buttoned up and ready to go. Had to get the expensive Mobile 1 oil filter though. They were out of the Super Tech and I didn't want to take a chance on the Fram.

  I'll see you guys  tomorrow in Tallahassee at the StayBridge Inn. Ride safe on a beautiful day up and over as Jeff and I will be getting there around 3 pm. I hope you are excited for a few days of great riding and weather.

2nd tally ride was amazing, thank Keith and everybody who was there. We met some great people and new friends.

    As usual, Keith did a bang-up job setting up and directing the 2nd Tally Rally. The head count was a little lower than last year, but it was still a great time. Great rides, great friends,and great food. Already looking forward to a possible 3rd Tally Rally next year.

Thanks Eddie and thx for posting that pic.  That Bradleys Country Store sure makes a good sausage! Great pit stop for lunch on Saturday. Even getting there is beautiful.

Thank you Don! Yeah a couple shy this year but got some new faces. Rick and Randy came down from Valdosta area again for the one day and Wood and Erin made it for the 2 days of riding. Great group of folks and hope to do it again next year.

  What a Great weather weekend to help kick off my 2nd Tally Rally. Woke to upper 30's got on the road by mid-40's. I'm really glad you all had a good time of riding the Forgotten Highway w/ a great lunch at Half Shell in Apalachicola then on Saturday riding the beautiful rolling hills and canopy roads of Tallahassee. I heard someone say their ears popped.  Then to top off the afternoon at the Fish House on the Lake. Thanks for making the journey, Vance=Pocket Aces, Jeff=ChrisJ, Jeff=Flsix, Don & Roxie = Oldfart, Eddie & Pattie =Steel Cowboy, Mark & Erin = Wood Butcher, Gil, Randy and Rick. I hope to do it again next year

Tally Rally 2022 was total success.
A little chilly in the mornings but warmed nicely after an hour or so. The Host hotel is a real Gem.
Super nice rooms. Nice great room for gatherings and to enjoy their free Breakfast. Lake outback with gas grills and a nice little bar with Brett the bartender. 
All the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Great rides and conversations with everyone. really enjoyed it. I was long overdue for a little bike trip.

Tally Rally 2022 was total success.
A little chilly in the mornings but warmed nicely after an hour or so. The Host hotel is a real Gem.
Super nice rooms. Nice great room for gatherings and to enjoy their free Breakfast. Lake outback with gas grills and a nice little bar with Brett the bartender. 
All the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Great rides and conversations with everyone. really enjoyed it. I was long overdue for a little bike trip.
