what is with the red tide stuff?

Here in Naples but cant go in the water

Well at least the pool is nice as are the temps

But stay at the beach more than 10 minutes start coughing

And.........there is a huge mat of Sargassum weed coming at us from the atlantic side. It will also get into the Gulf. This thing spans thousands of square miles apparently and will hit this summer sometime. It is expected to do quite a bit of damage to sea life in the more shallow areas. Also releases hydrogen sulphide as it rots!! Enjoy your stay!!!
