saw this on cycle trader

Used 2018 Honda Sport Touring Motorcycle -  white with 11,200 miles
GOLD WING TOUR DCT - $17,999  That is half the price of a new one I think

are there any problems and does the trunk hold 2 full sized helmets
That is a big concern as I would use it to ride places with my wife

figured this would be the board to ask

I've heard that it's a tight fit for 2 full face helmets (many didn't fit)
Honda did make the rear trunk a little bigger in newer models
The price seems fair.

I know this is an older post and sorry I didn't see it but I asked my friend who owned many Wings including the new style and he said that as long as its not the new style Wing all have room for a helmet.

Hopefully it will help someone who may have the same question.

I've had a 2014 F6c until April 2024 when a car decided on the highway my bike would not go any further (231,000 km) so I had to replace it.

I found a GW Bagger DCT 2023 :



I never liked the ordinary GW because it is too fat, too big for me (63 kg) and I think the design is obsolete  . I ride alone most of the time and I don't need the enormous backseat (comfy for sure !). The trunk has changed on the 2020 GW and now you can put two helmets in it. I've bought a Maxia 5 GIVI and it's fine for me.

IMHO, If I had to choose between a 2018 (18,000 $) and a 2013 model (12,000 $) I wouldn't hesitate. The new GW is much more refined, brakes better, the DCT is excellent.

My 2023 Bagger alas is not as fast as my F6c 2014 was and when I reach 100 mls/h, that's almost the end of it  

After 12,000 km in four months, I still have to be very cautious at very slow speed, the bike falls easily aside (slippery foot, lousy road surface, HD plot etc.)

How do you like that DCT?  I have heard that it is really nice, but takes practice in slow speed manuvers.

Maybe you must not be too cautious in the very slow manuvers and speed up a little because when you leave the sidewalk on which you parked the bike or some country parking lot, if the bike is leaning  just a little bit and you stop, it's then very difficult to keep the bike from falling even though you have both feet on the ground. I never had this problem with the F6c 2014 because the seat is much lower.

But the bike is fine, you can ride almost non stop for 7 hours (from Paris to Marseille, 660 km) quite easily though the seat is not as comfy as you thought it would be.

Thanks for the info ledany.  Was curious how it would feel for the MCT transmission.
