With over 36 years at GM, I can only say, all vehicles are over-priced junk.  GM is a less than loyal employer to it's employees, and it's CEO is a liberal leaning, over paid, person who has ruined a once great corporation with all her DEI and LGBTQ personnel policies.  I won't even get into the poor product decisions that were made to satisfy the climate change advocates, at the expense of consumer choice.  None of the vehicles produced today by any manufacturer, IMHO, are worth the price they charge for them.  But in our highly mobile society, they are a necessary evil.  Bottom line, buy what ever brand you want, they are all JUNK.

To a certain extent, I agree, especially on the Hyundai and Kia brands.   Wouldn't bring one home if it were given to me.    My wife has been pretty happy with her Honda Ridgeline but, eventually it will have some issue that pisses her off.   There's so many damn sensors on it and it seems they have a mileage number for when they go bad.

Upon moving to TN, I finally decided that I was no longer going to Hot Shot so, I don't need all those trailers and my Ram 3500 Cummins.   As with all of the Dodge/Ram trucks I've owned, I've been very happy with them until the electronics start screwing up.   That's when they get traded off.   Normally I get about 400K miles before that happens.   They are all ordered and built to tow.   This last one only has 66K or so miles on it and it's been a very good truck but, it's time for it to go since I'm no longer going to Hot Shot.

So, I went looking for the pickup I wanted.  The new versions (ALL BRANDS) with all the EPA required crap and electronics scare the heck out of me so, I found and bought a older half ton short wheel based Chevy PU.   Honestly, it was the only one I found that wasn't rusted out at the door sills, cab corners and fenders.  About a month after buying it, the dash lights started lighting up.   Yep, more sensor problems.   Just about everything produced today is built to last just past warranty.  

I'll get it fixed and hopefully drive it till I'm no longer safe on the road.  According to my wife, that may already be applicable.
