Hi everyone,  it's Lulu here. First thing I'd like to say is how much I miss all of you. I'm looking forward to seeing all those daces I love so much. Sitting around the fire & telling silly stories while sharing a cold one with my friends.
I'm not one to ask such things typically,  but I'm also not going to be proud to do everything & anything for our children.  As many of you know, my my 33yr old daughter has been very sick for over a yr now & life has not been the same. A tough one to say the least.  I'm working 60hrs a week & would work more if we weren't closed 2 days a week. Lol
She requires much medical care & needs different procedures etc just to help her survive this with hopes of maybe having a chance to live a better life again one day as she has 2 children who need her & a Mamma that refuses to give up.
If anyone can or is able to contribute to helping my way...all & anything is appreciated beyond words. I love you guys & I thank you again for all you've done & being there whether it's even just prayers.

I know you do not want to hear this but if her insurance makes you pay upfront then you need to consider getting Alyssa on Medicaid

You can still buy her the things you think she needs but many procedures etc will be covered

Speak to a medicaid attorney,  I am not one but working 60 hrs something will happen that could be preventable

Having been a police officer there has been issues with state benefits.  She has a medical benefits program that has just been instate a very short time ago but is extremely stringent on what is qualified & what is not. With VERYstrict guidelines.  100% disqualification immediately if not followed. # rule is NO outstanding medical bills whatsoever.  Her body not cooperating very well anymore & being able to fight any type of infection off has cost her 4 teeth just within the past few days.  The infection has made its way into facial nerve, jaw bone & sinus cavity.  If not arrested will continue to spread & possible sepsis as its getting pretty bad.   DENTAL IS NOT COVERED!     With blood clotting issues healing isn't going so good. Today packing came out & oral surgery is necessary to push nerve back in place to avoid a permanent facial droop & pain is indescribable.  I wouldn't wish what she's going thru on the devil himself....😣 not to mention another stone is trying to pass.

I have been sending Theresa money to help ease her burdens and get Alyssa some relief and hopefully recovery.  It is hard to hear Theresa in tears, totally exhausted and at her wits end, trying to deal with all this. I know it is hard for her to continue asking for help, but she has no other choice.

I am also ashamed of our government that thinks illegal aliens deserve free health care while citizens and vets are ignored and continue to suffer.

If you can possibly help Alyssa, please send what you can to Theresa, she really needs the help.  We are a unique group of people, and very generous to our charities through Insane.  But it is time to take care of our own.  Please help if you can.  And thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I agree with Joe, it is unconscionable for our own government to abandon our families as they have and continue to do.  We both have been trying to help her as we love all of youse

Medicaid is a drastic step, it has saved many but you sometimes have gone from the fire into the frying pan with red tape....

Not a fan of go fund me pages because they take a cut
but have you set one up?   If she does not mind being famous,
the local news could do a story and it could go viral for you
especially her being a LEO and a mom

So, this is the message I received from Theresa.  I think she should take Alyssa to the ER, but she says they will cancel her insurance.  We need to get the insurance. Companies out of our health care.  They add cost and provide nothing.  Please help if you can.

Edit:  There's a problem with our country when the people that are responsible for this health care disaster are getting rich and have full coverage, and citizens like Alyssa and Theresa are being bankrupt by medical bills.  Remember when Obama said we would get free health care?  Hanging is to good for him IMHO.

 Something terrible happened yesterday With having to keep the teeth cavities open in order for infection to drain out of the bottom now they've had to just keep packing in the teeth and with her clotting issues The packing from around the third tooth started to come out and when the packing in gauze came out it pulled the nerve completely out and exposed and it is very much sticking way out of her tooth They did x-rays etc to make sure that there is still blood supply going to it but that is subject to change with the longer it is exposed and possibility of infection spreading like wildfire she needs oral surgery again to repair nerve damage and not to risk the facial droop to be there permanently It is extremely Dangerous to keep open an exposure the way it is at this time she will be needing to be put completely under anesthesia for repair And I can't even explain the agony that she is in right now it's heartbreaking I wasn't even able to sleep last night I feel like I cried all night long. I paid $200 for x-rays etc and repacking yesterday but today they're needing to do oral surgery if possible at all that cost with friends and family discount LOL is another $800!! I simply don't know what to do anymore...😭   One good thing is at this time infection does not appear to have spread to any other teeth they just have to repair the nerve and remove infection from that exposed area and then they can close it up And that should be the end of it. I hate to ask you again but if you can help me I'll be at work and I should be able to send you back All of the money I make today at the end of the day I get paid around 8 o'clock. Well I gotta go get to work now I'm so sorry to bother you especially first thing in the morning. I'm so sorry. I hope to never have to ask again for this stuff. I just don't know what to do "

  Theresa Paul's (aka Lulu Belle) 33 yo daughter, Alyssa, has cancer and very little if any insurance coverage.  She has already had several procedures and needs more. Theresa has been working around the clock for the past several months trying to pay her bills and cover the cost of meds.  I spoke with her last night, and she said Alyssa is in need of another procedure to remove the cancer.  I asked if she would mind if I reached out on her behalf, and while reluctant to do so, she admitted that she had no other viable alternatives.  Gig has been helping her out, but is on a fixed income since his accident.

This is all taking a huge toll on Mother Theresa. She can't sleep, won't eat and
Just goes to work 12-14 hours every day. Her hair is falling out and her skin is erupting because of all the added stress 

Being denied insurance is crazy, we're doing everything we can, not sure how it will resolve.

Update:
We're trying to get Ally into the hospital where she needs to be. On top of the kidney failure, stones, body rejection of replacement parts, infections, etc she now has extreme dental complications. Nerve is exposed, face is drooping, permanently disfigured. She has seizures, can't walk, - really bad condition. We're all on edge every minute...
