Hi All! I've rewired my Valk 1999 GL1500 with a mo.unit but I'm not getting spark. Anyone dealt with this issue? It cranks but seems it might be a resistor issue as I've replaced the ignition with a standard rocker switch for testing. I don't have a wiring diagram for the ICM either so not sure which wire/port I'd need to introduce resistance to. Any help gratefully received!

I also have a yellow/green wire and a green/orange wire which remain unconnected from the ICM, does anyone know what these wires are and whether they're related to the above?

Thanks

When you start tinkering with the wiring, you often create your own problems. The only resistors I'm aware of in the ignition system are in the end of the spark plug wires where they attach to the plugs. If you have a bad one, it will only affect that one cylinder. Go back and review what you did re. the rewiring, I think you created your own issues.

The wiring diagrams for Honda Valkyrie 1500 are here:

Compare your motorcycle to the wiring diagram. (You may wish to remove that box and return the bike to stock.)
