:cooldude: Ok, we have dates for the 6th Annual 2026 Tally Rally. Going to be October 15-18,2026. Ground Zero is the same place that it has always been, StayBridge Inn & Suites. So check your calendar and if you can make it, love to see you there. I'll post more info in this thread very soon. I just spoke to the StayBridge folks today and will have it all put together and posted hopefully by Tuesday July 7th, meaning location, phone # and pricing on rooms. I was told they will honor the same pricing as last year. This should be in the contract that I'll have next week after the 4th. I'll confirm with them and bring all up to date. Stay tuned!  :coolsmiley:

Not that I usually participate, but that's Daytona Biketober feast weekend. Sometimes I have company but not as much over the past few years.

Yeah, it's also one of the weekends I could get without a FSU & FAMU football game. I took a poll with the majority preferring that weekend ;) Jim, I hope all is well and hope you can make it. I promise it won't be as crowded as Daytona
I also lost your contact info. You can send me a pm with it if you'd like, Thanks!  :coolsmiley:

Evening guys, I had a nice ride this morning down to Boston with my friend Greg. We met in Moultrie and then went about 50 miles to our target Main Street Cafe for breakfast. It was just fabulous too. After breakfast we rode down to Monticello then Tallahassee to visit family.
I'm looking forward to the Tally Rally very much! I'd like to ride to breakfast instead of the hotel buffet even though it's not bad. So many of these small towns have such really great places that I'd like you to see. Plus the great ride getting there :smitten:

Roxie and I would be up for a breakfast ride, also.

Morning folks, I love mornings :smitten: I'm thinking of changing up the ride on Friday a little. Normally we will make a run down to the coast eat lunch in Apalachicola then ride "The Old Forgotten Hway" = 98 back towards the PSJ Lighthouse then back to the Staybridge in Tallahassee. This year I'd like to eat breakfast at Camp Ease. A nice spot at a fishing camp near Bainbridge, GA. From there head to the FL State Caverns in Marianna, FL. If you've never been it's pretty impressive. Then looking at the time, decide if we want to run down to the Coast. Saturday will be our ride around beautiful Tallahassee and S.GA.  Oh yeah, Arriving on Thursday we will have dinner at Backwoods Crossing! :smitten:

The Changeup sounds like a plan to me!

Sounds good to me. I have never been to the State Caverns. Backwoods Crossing was a good spot.

Just got my hotel room, in, for the ride. I got the goldwing running great. Unfortunately the Valkyrie I was hoping to take will need carburetor cleaning and front fork rebuild. I was hoping Mark could do it but he's too Busy, either I'll wait for him in October or I might try it myself. I've done it once before. This Thursday will be my last day working at weeki Wachee state park, My doing, so I'll have plenty of free time.
See you all soon.

;)  Asking cause some want to know if a few of you are making the journey from South-Central FL up to Tallahassee in about 8 weeks+/-. Why don't you put a note on here to see if you might be able to meet up somewhere along the way up with a fellow rider!  :???:

Roxie and I, along with Steel Cowboy, will be rolling out of Homosassa about 11:30 - 12:00 on the 15th, and will be making our 1st stop at the Circle K in Chiefland (JCT US 19 & Alt US 27) about an hour later. All who might be interested in joining us are welcome.

:cooldude:  Here is the info on the Caverns. In case you have any questions maybe you'll find them here. This will be nice after our Breakfast on Friday morning at Camp Ease! We will get to the Caverns around 11-11:30. Now they are in Central. :coolsmiley:

Unfortunately, I have to announce that Roxie and I will have to bow out of this year's Tally Rally. I am having some Medical problems that, while not serious or life threatening, will preclude any trips taking me away from home more than a few hours at a time. Hopefully, they will be taken care of  by the 1st of the new year, and we will be doing a lot more riding, for extended trips.

flsix

Sorry to hear that Don.  :-\
Pray that things get sorted out soon.

My Medical problems are actually pretty minor, but the circumstances make Multi-day trips a real hassle, so it is a lot less stress on me to stay home. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

You will be missed Don. I believe you had made the 5 previous Tally Rally dates. Looking forward to having you back. Prayers for a strong recovery my friend.

Sorry to hear the bad news, Don, but you are right your health is more important. You and Roxy will be missed on the ride. But There is always next year.

Attn: It was brought to my attention that last year a couple of us discussed bringing some Valkyrie parts that some folks would be willing to part with.  :???:
If you have some parts and want to bring them with you to sell-trade I'm not going to say you can't. Heck, I may find a couple! We can find some time to meet or grab someone when you can just let it be known you have a stash :police:
