Well my wife has been getting on to me about getting rid of a load of my old T-shirts. Well reluctantly I got started on that job now that I'm retired!    The memories that these shirts represented was fun to think about but then again a little sad too. Ginger could see that so told me she has a friend - Lynn who makes quilts and could make a quilt out of my T-shirts. Well the king size quilt was a bit much so we narrowed that down to a more reasonable number of shirts and this is what she made for me! Now every fall/winter day I'll be wearing all these shirts staying warm.   One of these shirts is over 50 years old and in great shape, kinda easy to pick out. Hint: I didn't live too far from the beach

Roxie has made quite a few Quilts over the years, even going so far as to haul her sewing machine along in the truck while we were teaming together, and setting it up on the steering wheel while we were parked overnight and over the weekend. I just might ask her to make one out of a few of my older T-Shirts. I don't have any that are 50 years old, but I absolutely have enough between 20 & 35 years old to make a King-Size quilt.
