Unidentified cable connector attached to carburetor assembly

I've been doing some fuel related work on my Valk and came across this cable on the left hand side of the carburetor assembly.  I can't find it in any diagram from the service manual or any other documentation or other owners videos.

Anybody have any idea?



1999 Cream and Yellow standard, .4 to over 101k so far.

Looks like the hookup for an aftermarket cruise control.
The light at the end of the tunnel, is a train.

I agree. It definitely isn't a stock carb part. That chain connector on the end looks like what Attic Rat used on my trike when he added the Rostra Cruise control. However i think mine is clamped to the middle of the crossover arm, not the end.

Thanks for the input, both of you. I had forgotten that I started to do that years ago and never followed through. Makes perfect sense.
