Well I've reached the point in life where power equipment pull-starts are not my friend. This past August, Sherry and I visited Bernie and Betsy. I was talking to Bernie about having to replace my lawn mower with an electric start model. It wasn't a surprise that Bernie had two models in his garage to show me: a 30 inch cut Toro and a 21 inch cut Honda.l Last week I pulled the trigger on the Toro. It got delivered today.

This replaces my 22 inch cut pull-start Toro Personal Pace model, which I'm giving to a friend. I do like the Personal Pace feature and tried it out with the new mower. It works great. I may even look forward to cutting the lawn now. No pull-start and less time spent cutting. Yahoo!  :cooldude:

Got yourself a Bernie Blue Light Special, did ya Tony..??   :crazy2: Electric starts sure are a convenience...
A couple years ago (3 maybe) I went from a pull start self propelled Honda to a John Deere S140...
Yep, mowing the lawn is once again fun....

I agree about the electric starts. After reading your post, I checked out the John Deere S140 on the internet. That's a nice machine.  :cooldude:

A couple more months of cutting the lawn, then we pivot to snow removal. Oh well, that's how it goes in New England. The snow is pretty, until you have to drive in it or clean it up. Honestly since I've retired, I don't do very much driving in the snow. I wait until the roads are cleared.  ;)

All of our lawns slope away from the house, as they should be...So no matter where I mow, I'm either going uphill, downhill, or sidehill and that type of walking was too painful on my hips and knees....Hence the rider.
Yeah, won't be long Tony and the snowblower will find it's way up front...We don't go out with snow / ice on the roads either, unless it's for a doctors appointment...
