73k on my IS and have not replaced it yet.  :cooldude:
I did find another and picked it up just in case.
If Honda ever delivers, I will get another and replace it at 100k. :)

I've used and abused mine and haden't had any issues yet. I've calmed down  a little but still redline it quite often. My bike dosen't seem to have a rev limiter by the way. 59,500 mi.

I changed gears at 7 1/2 and it bounced to 8 when I drew the clutch.

If you're not the original owner, pull off the left side cover and look at the top of the ICM.  Is it black or white?  Does it have dials?

The Dyna 3000, an aftermarket ICM will allow you to set the rev limiter.

I somehow missed your reply but I have a black icm. I guess its stock.

Mine started making noise at 48,000 miles.  The cups were loose in yoke.  There seemed to be no warning that it was bad.  It seemed to be normal on the  previous ride and started clunking on the next.  The bike is always garaged and seldom exposed to rain or water so I think it was just a bad part in my case.
